I love seeing Darrell Waltrip cheering on his brother, but seeing Earnhardt hit the wall right before the finish makes me really sad. A great and happy moment overshadowed by a dark and depressing accident. RIP Dale Sr.

DolleHengst The king had way to easy compitetion back in the days, or else you would see guys like Johnson, Gordon, Busch, etc win way more races

Dale Earnhardt a "second rate driver"? His seven Cups and his 34 wins at Daytona (most of any driver in history) say otherwise.

If it wasn't for Dale getting killed, the 2001 finish would've been a memorable one for the right reasons for the fans of DEI. Instead, it ended up being probably the most infamous one. RIP Dale.

Something I’ve wondered about the 01 finish, did Jeff Hammond intentionally commentate under the booth or was it an error

I'm not sure. I'm fairly positive it was meant to be since his former drivers brother was winning and I imagine FOX wanted to broadcast his congratulations and pulling

It really isn't that difficult to make the volume of all the clips about the same. Going back and forth from normal to quiet whispering is hell for headphone users. Turn the volume up enough to hear the whispering and risk blowing our damn eardrums. >_< This is the first video of yours I've seen, so I don't know if you fixed it in more recent videos.
