Merry Christmas mate. It's always great to hear people enjoy the content, gives me motivation to keep making more vids. And definitely do a karting session here or there, even if it's just a couple a year!

@@MilkyCereal73 No problem.You fully deserve it! Yes,I’m trying to do some go-karting but I just can’t find the time with my A-levels.When I went though I was a noob lol because I kept spinning out at the long right handed and then couldn’t rotate my kart fast enough at the hairpin.It was at an indoor track.If you don’t mind me asking,do you have any tips for those particular corners? Thanks!
@MilkyCereal73 Жыл бұрын
@@AJzilllaPro so with indoor circuits they are very slippery, because its not tarmac, so you have to slide the kart more. That being said, in general being smooth is a good habit. for a hairpin, you can usually slow it down a bit and just chuck the kart in. for a long corner, be a bit smoother, because if you slide, you lose a lot of speed. Here is an indoor karting session I did. This circuit has a few hairpins. and two-three long corners of varying tightness. so you might be able to see what I do for those kzbin.info/www/bejne/rH7PkH99oM5_qqc

@@MilkyCereal73 🤣👍 I did notice it - you were shifting along, I struggle with turn 8 carrying the speed up the hill, well played

@@AThompsonMotorsport it's a very difficult corner to get right, there is a lot of time to be gained if you get the apex spot on.

First time going to MK Daytona plus an outdoor track and in DMAX karts on Friday night. It was 0 degrees and the track was icy and so slippery 😭😂 some people were 5-8 seconds per lap faster (obviously experienced karters and who knew the track) must have spun 20 times across practice, quali & the race 😂 any advice for driving in those conditions?
@MilkyCereal732 ай бұрын
@@y3lks those are super tough conditions. The main thing is learning how to be on edge at all times. Every braking point you have to be on the verge of losing the rear. Every corner you have to be almost understeering into the barriers. Same with corner exits. If you don't have the confidence to push like that every single corner, every single lap in wet/icy conditions, then you can't be fast
@y3lks2 ай бұрын
@ thank you for replying, I understand what you’re saying with the technique of driving, it’s just something I’d have to practice in those conditions. But you’re right, I’d lost confidence with the amount of spins I had with minimal throttle applied. One of the karters said I wasn’t using the outside of the corners enough

Can you please tell me how you add the lap timer to your videos 😂
@MilkyCereal73 Жыл бұрын
I manually go through every lap in the race and add text to show my laptime!

If this is 111 like dom told me I’m not sure how you think it’s decent felt like it had no low end in superchamps
@MilkyCereal73 Жыл бұрын
Maybe they fixed it? Also, if you go fast enough, then you are never in low end. Big brain strats 😂. But in seriousness, this kart felt nice and watching it back, it looks good too

Something ive noticed is whenever you say a karts terrible Dom always goes and says for him it was fine 😂
