I am a full time trucker. Part time at started student since 1 May 2024. Yesterday I made 200 on wt sim. Today 3 May I lost 240. I failed to manage risk. The stock didn't fell within my strategy. I was in fomo. Then I got stuck in emotional roller coaster and kept d watching it going down till -240. Monday will be a great day. Thanks @Ross for all the knowledge, tools and motivation. I just ordered this book from Amazon and I'm glad you released the audio version because now I can listen and follow along. I have read your other book "How To Day Trade" about 5 times and I periodically review it when applying your strategies. You explained the technicals of trading very well and the colored diagrams really helped with absorbing the content. I don't know if I would have figured out how to play momentum stocks without your help, however I need to be more disciplined and look for a catalyst when I find a stock that looks tradeable. I have a bad habit of diving right in and that has cost me many times. I am still a rookie and I sometimes trade like one.

I'm reading the book now. Currently at page 118 (about candlesticks). The first half of the book is not about technical stuff. It's a biography and it is as important as the numbers bit. Perhaps even more important because you can find the numbers bit on every street corner, whereas the personal aspect is greatly or totally overlooked by every other trading influencer. It certainly made me think in a different way about the whole trading business. Having this as an audio book (for free!) is great, but I urge you to buy the actual book. Not only to support Ross but also because information is absorbed in a different way when you read. Plus it looks great on your coffee table ;) Ross, thank you so much for taking all this trouble to help us along the way! And now, if you l'll excuse me, I'm going to read a bit more.

Curios how this book differs from your first book, how to day trade? I’m on your warrior pro trial now and am enjoying it. Seems like monitoring level 2 data is key to your methodology along with trading quickly with hot keys. Is it possible to be successful without trading at that speed? Thanks for the content.

My first book really went hand in hand with a course I was teaching at the time. If you weren’t in the course aspects of the book were out of context. The new book is designed to be read stand alone and does not require being in the classes. Level 2 and hot keys are pretty much required.

Started that positive feedback loop for sure. 12 green, 3 red trades for April so far.
