Thanks for the great video. I trade 0 DTE SPX Iron Condors from about 1 hour after the market opens to about an hour or two before it closes. Seems it is more volatile at open and close and love the benefit of the quick time decay during the day. Since I have credit spreads on both sides I haven't used stop losses but I'll consider this week after watching your video. Curious about the algorithm used by magic eight ball to determine direction. Seems like 50/50 shot in short term direction. Does it consider the fact that it has already moved a certain amount in one direction versus the expected daily or weekly move or some other factors?

I’m not really sure, I haven’t a clue about programming or other factors he uses. I only added it to my trading plan because it’s a fixed-time entry and wins a lot. It often coincides with the Opening Range breakout highs and lows so it just fits so well into my trading plan. I wish I were better at trading Iron Condors consistently but I prefer to be on one side of the market. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I am a Bola8 subscriber and I have been doing Iron Condor based on your prediction. I close my wings a little more to receive more credit but I think the same as you. I am looking for a way to control my emotions and not take trades to expiration because it is horrible to be glued to a computer until the market closes and even more so when I love spending time with my family. Especially my children and wife. It's stressful.

May i ask. What your wide spread? I m trading SPX Iron condor too and want some tip from other traders. Thx
@AxeOptions8 ай бұрын
The main reason I added this to my trading plan is because it is a fixed-time entry and in a way it forces me to be “emotion-less” and just enter without bias because I am confident in its win rate. I wish you all the best in finding your daytrading flow…balance… I feel I am there now, but it took me a long time! 💚💚

I also subscribe to M-8 using the Sonar template. I like to close the short options the last 30 min of the trading day to take profit and leave the long options to expire. If PDT is a problem, I switch to /ES using the same deltas (price is not the same as SPX).

Hi Arianne. Your number of occurrences proves the strategies are profitable. Are you confident to increase position size? If so , will you widen the strikes to $10 wide or increase the number of contracts? My occurrences are less but following your success so far. Thank you as always for the inspiration and thank you for the link to Brian. Wishing you the greatest success as we are all following your lead.. regards Marty M . London.

Hi there, you mention that you copy and paste the trade into ToS and send the trade. However, most of your credits in your spreadsheet (including 11/3/2023 in your video) are noted as receiving a higher credit than the 10:30 M8B callout? Just curious what's going on there. How you are getting the higher credit if you are copying and pasting form the callout. Or are you adjusting to higher before sending the trade. Thanks!
@LArmstrong857 ай бұрын
I have the same question. Do you avoid credit spread less than 0.8 and prefer to switch to a close spread if not assigned?
@AxeOptions4 ай бұрын
I know this a very late reply, sorry. I do copy and paste the alert, but I almost never enter at the alerted price. I usually add .10 +.15 more.

Is the free version for SPX enough to use the way you’re using it? I see the paid version does more tickers, gives more detail and updates more often.

Thanks for sharing!! There’s literally no KZbin video on how to set stop loss such that it’s limited to the sum of the premium. Can you create a video on how to do so for spread / iron condor?
@sanjeev20698 ай бұрын
Love your videos. Learned how to keep things simple. Have noticed that you take profit at 45 cents. Seen you use it in a few of your videos. Why 45 and not 25, 50 or 75?
@AxeOptions8 ай бұрын
It’s just the sweet spot (for me). 0.75 on a 0DTE timeframe can take an additional 2 hours to achieve. 0.45 maintains positive expectancy and sometimes can be achieved in as little as 15 minutes.

No more ORB? Why?
@StocksDoc7 ай бұрын
yes -- I miss her! Well, she's still up enough to sell her ORB kit which I just bought to solidify my own methods. Maybe she's just making too much consistently boring money to even bother with this any more. 😃
@ypl19772 ай бұрын
@@StocksDoc hey bro, are you using the ORB? how is it doing? how long have you been trading this orb?
@StocksDoc2 ай бұрын
@@ypl1977 I use ORB, but not the way Axe does. The market has gotten too volatile to make any money using ORB only. Most days it breaks both sides of the ORB and kills you. The ORB define important levels and projections, but I trade directional options based on perceived Smart Money Concepts -- following the strong hands / big money when they enter. It's been a journey that has cost a lot, but understanding how the market really works is so important ... otherwise it just does not make sense sometimes.
@StocksDoc2 ай бұрын
@@ypl1977 I use OR without the 'B'. I've expanded my trading system so much with all that I have learned in my years of trading. Just trusting the Breakout to not reverse has resulted in too many little losses or even little gains. I need to make more money in my trading than 40-cents per 5-wide spread. I use long single options instead to trade in my predicted, short-term direction. My short-term predictions have become so good that I just stick with that and make a much great percentage return on my money.

This is a good video and I appreciate the information but one of the things you're not mentioning when talking to people who are just starting out is the fact that you have in your account at least $25,000. Because of the frequency of your trades if you didn't you would have easily gotten flagged as a pattern day trader. I know because it happened to me.
@AxeOptions4 ай бұрын
You don’t have to have more than $25k to daytrade, you just have to limit yourself to 3 roundtrips every 5 days. (Which all new traders should adhere to). Any trades beyond that you can “hack” out of and avoid PDT flags. (I have other videos on how this can be done). Good luck, thanks for watching!
