@8:40 - UPDATED - Now uses True or False. "1" is now "True" and "0" is now "False". @Scalespeeder. Add a note card over that mark in the video. No sense in remaking the entire video just for that. Unless there was another change that i have missed.

Hey man, love the channel. Big fan. I usually love all the information you give out on your channel. But I had to make a comment regarding you’re statement that DayZ plays better in 3rd person. 😮 That is utter nonsense mate, and you know it 😂 Especially on console. NEVER Drive in 3rd person. It causes screen lock. Driving in the 3rd person is the number 1 cause of a ruined car and dead passengers 😂 Love the channel mate. You’ve helped me so much on my server. All the best. 👍

Hi. Great videos. I have comment or question. On the 3:12 you explain night time with an example of night being 12 hours, in that case, server multiplayer should be 1 not 2 right? Otherwise night will be 6 hours with server multiplayer of 2. So for that configuration of 2 and 16 means that total day will last 12 hours were daylight will be 11.62 hrs and night .37 hrs (22.5 minutes). Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks. Again, great videos, they have been tremendous help to setup my own server.

You've got the newer version of the files, where the Devs have changed the format. Stick with the way it works in your files.

Custom folder is mainly used for object spawner json files, or if you use the "additive" type types method.

In the building code you say change the zeros to 1. Mine doesn't say zero it says false

Im a admin on a server and we are having a problem with tents being placed that cannot be taken down. We have been locking the server and going thru and tearing them down. My question is, is their a good way to set the lifetime value of tents so they will clean their selves up or a different way. We are almost to a point to turn off the build anywhere bc of this issue

I wouldn't turn off build anywhere...but if you turn on your tent damage where a player can destroy a tent or barrel then just destroy them and they will respawn

I may have asked previously, but short of items with colored variants, how do we get items to spawn at Heli crashes and static contaminated zones exclusively? I'm working on a hard-core survival PVEVP server and I've made it so the only silencer you can get in tier 1-2 is for the Makarov or a bottle silencer, and pistol silencers are restricted to tier 3-4. I want to make it so M4/AK supressors and high tier guns like the AKM, SVAL, VSS, SVD, M4A1, etc. spawn in both the contaminated zones and heli crashes. I want to push players to get up close and personal or use stealth and weigh the pros and cons of alerting every zed in a 200m radius and every survivor up to 2km out of their presence and location. I've also made it so food items are counted in cargo stashes and player so there's a finite amount of canned goods outside of zombie loot drops, and I'm going to try to make it so animals drop less meat, as I've replaced boars with wolves to compensate for the lack of action on a 10 slot server.

The custom folder is for object spawner json files. Upload edited types, events, etc files on top of the old ones.

Hiya looking for advice, my Nitrado server does not have the option in the general settings to change the day / night multiplier. My base setting option go as follows: Hostname - Password - Rcon Password - Mission - Whitstlist checkbox - Banlist - Whitelisted Players - Reduce log output - log damage - log placement - log basebuilding - log playerlist and so on. But no where on the list of check boxes is there anywhere I can change the days states or the year start or 3rd person ect. Any advice would be fantastic!!

It's to bad people play this game on Xbox and Playstation a regular pc runs it so much easier and you end up on othe games getting free content and you don't have to pay for Xbox live and ps networking oh yeah and pcs can use gamepads now so oh and when you guys want the new Xbox or ps your gaming pc would still run faster then the new Xbox or ps and if the pc starts running slow you buy a new video card which even low end cards are way faster than the Xbox and ps stuff Somthing to think about maybe we can all be friends lol
