I can outsmart the most, staying in tier 1 bases won’t get you raided as people doesn’t believe that you have anything good... I’d say my base is unraidable to a certain degree, yes... Don’t tell you that you wanna go 18 nades in a tier 1 base because you won’t.. I mean it could happen but it’s very very unlikely as people that are good enough to get grenades will go after a base in the land and not on coast except if you’re exposing cars 🙂 plus i always have 2 of those backpacks who has 90 slots, and will log out with all my good loot 😏 you really can’t steal from me unless you shoot me

And i log out with the mountain backpacks or fieldbackpacks with all my good loot... If you’re getting in there would be nothing there really because i logged out with my goodies... And who is the loser that spent 18 grenades, i got my shovel, axe, nails and all my weapons so can very easily rebuild with my crew... The only thing you would get is some pills and some pumps, so go ahead bro 😊 again definetly not worth taking on a tier 1 base 😁 we are 4 players almost logging off with our entire base bro

@@069751 unless you wipe your server it can take some time for loot to be cycled to fit your coding. When you change coding, the original coding is still in effect until it cycles or you wipe.

The only way to have an un-raidable base is not to have one. Anyone can build a tough to get at base with unlimited resources. Plus if your the one doing the raiding, you have to ask yourself - is it worth it, and in most cases of its not.

You can walk along those metal railings, so that fence upstairs won't help. There's also the glitch to fall under the ground with buddies and then swim into the base and relog to be placed on the surface. Only bases that are up in buildings resist the swimming glitch.

@@EthanPyjamas Building a small base in the upper floors of an apartment building is usually good. If you keep it smallish and limited to the indoor rooms, most people will never even find it. There's such garbage loot in those buildings nobody goes in them except to snipe or build a base.

Something I’ve learned is make every wall a gate with a 4 dial/different codes to help them not break down every wall. Barbed wire does help now. They fixed swimming issues mainly.

You dismantle the watch tower when you get on an want to leave the base, an rebuild before you get off. Or the better way is to have an alt account up there an hop on that account to rebuild an dismantle the watchtower whenever you walk out of your base or into it. There’s some extra steps to protect your base but it would be worth it if the base is actually “unraidable” an the watchtower post truly can’t be destroyed.

I prefer little shelters in the woods, can get really into the whole survival thing like that. Put ya fire somewhere near, like if you are in bear country (i only know this from documentaries, as i live in England 🤣). So far, i found i can survive a wolf pack in a temp shelter, not tried a bear though. Not dismissing the base, as hats off, to all that have that level of patience in the game👍🏼😂

@@shannonreed9808 I honestly do not know. Bears, of course, have a larger visual graphic than infected or wolves and I think they are coded to have a slightly longer melee reach. Seen lots of videos and Live Streams where they glitch slightly in placement & pathing codes and are able to hit people through a wall or doorway. Let’s say bears can melee wall bang you like another survivor shots you through that wooden door. So I wouldn’t risk it. I’ve built near bear spawns in the past myself though

@@shannonreed9808 The only thing you need to do to avoid bears is: 1. Don't build in bear country 2. If you hear a bear, go prone and slowly crawl away. Bears only attack you if they see you and if that is the only interaction - they only attack once, so you won't die only go unconscious. However, if you attack a bear, they will continue to attack you until you or it are dead. I have a shelter near where bears spawn, while I'm not foolish enough to attack them - I've had no problems avoiding the few bear spawns I've encountered there.

You need to double up your gates/fences too. Prevent glowsticking. Also... Our blue door industrial building has 56 gates currently to get into the front entrance. THAT is unraidable.

I would vault onto roof outside with 3 over hangs and jump thru window to get anything inside and to get to rood id just blow the walls up by over hang and vault right up to the roof that door isn't the only way up to roof fyi

What about the tall tower blocks in cherno. If you have a alt that lets you in you and have barbed wire on the bottom of a gate at the top of the ladders it will cut them and they can’t get up , also you can’t get a angle from the bottom of the ladder to shoot or throw nades , I’ve had big factions know my location and have got through some of the lower floor gates but not the top of the ladders

@@bugeyewugeye859 I'm legit doing this myself on tall apartments in Cherno, the ladder into the tall apartment room on the roof is a death trap, but Chinese hackers got in (legitimately), they just sent up suicide alt accounts against me unfortunately, took about 3 or 4 deaths for them to explode it, first nades focused barb wire damage, and I was rocking bear traps and stove ovens on the ground for the perfect block. Logged in an hour later and had at least 4 bodies worth of flesh cut up on the ground, they just kept suiciding bombing alts up - was the only way to break in

Good Idea ! But : unfortunately, no base can be safe in DayZ, the only thing possible is to hide barrels and wooden crates... for example under a tree (Oh?! Yes! Just cut down a large tree, place the crates at the initial location of the tree stump, when the server restarts the tree grows back and everything is hidden inside). With enough bucks shot and nades that’s easily raidable all you have to do is get on the ledges outside which you can grab in and shoot the fence out in that window and crawl through the window and jump the cat walk up there bring a split incase you break you leg and dismantle easy peasy

Nah man I raided this exact base with the two posts in front of the door. All you need to do is climb up on the sheet metal roof on the side, hop up, then shoot down the wall. Then ledge grapple up. Super easy raid.

I once found a dupers base in one of those buildings in one of the old temp servers but the idiot forgot to block off the rooftop door. All it took was a barrel to get onto the roof and in. The best part is, he had 2 cars locked away in the next building but had only used 3 dial locks so it didn't take long to guess the code. The perfect getaway vehical with all his loot! 😁

A base where you require an alt to access your own loot is pretty lame / boring way to play.

@@northernguerrilla3168 dayz console is plagued with nothing but high loot servers, toxic clans who have 20 alts and roof camp 24/7. In other words dayz on console is pretty toxic in my opinion, but I am happy to say I have never seen a group do anything as cheese as this. I think most people, with sense, know that this is such an unnecessary hassle.

They can build a watch tower on the third floor. Stack on top of each other. The guy on top logs out, logs back in. Then he's glitched on the roof. They did it to me offline still had their watch tower materials left on the ground on the third floor.

Build watch tower on side and glitch tires into the wall like a staircase and you can get in and out without breaking anything

All you need to do to get on roof is blow the wall above the 2 lower roofs and boost up then dismantle the watchtower thsts blocking the door we raided the hq building as well with a watchtower and jumping on eachothers heads

Shoot down the wall covering the blue roof. Get on the Blue roof on the side, have your homie crouch in front of you, jump on his head. Then you can mantle the roof. Its raidable.

@@matt.undisclosed from what I could tell and from what I tried you cannot use barbed wire for a gate. I think it was just a weird visual thing or some kinda error in the video. Oh well. I was wondering because I started playing again recently and was trying to build a base. I had so much barbed wire but could not find a single piece of metal wire lol.
