buddy! i've seen ALL your videos, very very rarely comment. always drop a like though!! ..these are by far and away (personally speaking) your best work! 13/10. the pvp vids are 10 a dozen. this is why i play the game. people. and the interactions. i played for a while pretending not to have a mic, and met just the nicest of people that didn't 'no mic-no life' me. ....i always spoke in the end, but the adventure wouldn't have been the same if i had spoke first. love these vids

@@codybrumley80 Are you sure it is a bug with the game and not something messed up on your end? My friend couldn't get his to work when we first started but he looked into it after we logged off the first time and he fixed his issue and had his mic working the next round. Edit... and before you say it. Yes... his mic was working for discord which we were on together but not working in Dayz. But he had to change some settings on his PC or get a new mic or something and it worked next time he got into Dayz.

That was really good. It's great how you interact with folks. It seems a real survival experience happens when you meet random people and one turns out to be worth traveling with. That No Mic guy didn't stand a chance on that life. He became a true character that you really cared about. I'd love to know what became of him after you left.

Got into this game a little while ago on console, great game, had some amazing adventures with randoms, its crazy that not many people know this game... advice I have for new players is to not give up. The game is slow and tedious at start, with not much explaining how things work, the more you understand the more you want to learn and it becomes quite addictive lol Watching TheRunningManZ awhile now great content, Paul your so down to earth and humble it makes your videos that much better.. Cheers for the entertainment, and showing people DayZ is good once your good lol

it's so good to see wholesomeness and humanity in gameplay these days. You fill a niche that Franky On PC in 1080P created when he first started playing--one that's been left empty in the community for a while. It's truly special to find another who can take up an endearing mantle of humanity in a game made for post-apocalyptic FPS settings, and then run with it. Keep on doing what you're doing. Even if many of us had already seen similar feats performed in years past, the uniqueness of your style brings something to DayZ that we often didn't realize we needed so badly until we experienced it. I just started play, because if you’re videos. This been one of the toughest surviving games I ever played. Today was first time I saved my life. I had no food , no water! Saw a small house always from my location. Figured I would die trying to get there, if die there. I was lucky enough to find a pumpkin patch. Fuel up, health got better... then server went down. That was 4hours of play. No loot ... still trying to figure map out. Taking my time and enjoying my discovery...love ya bye bye

I remember my first days on Standalone, I'm one who held off buying SA and kept playing A2 and A3 and oddly enough, played every other map and neglected Chernarus mostly(Namalsk, Taviana, Esseker, Takistan, Fallujah, Lingor, Panthera, Podagorsk, Sahrani, ECT) I finally bought SA right at 1.04 reluctantly, joined a hardcore survival server, no KOS, reduced food, ammo, no map, hordes, increased wolves, decreased meat from skinning ECT....I was just like him, I play on a 3440x1440 Ultrawide 35" Acer Predator monitor band absolutely cranked every visual setting, found myself a compass and headed Northeast from Cherno, was fantastic, after a weeks worth of playing, I had a double barrel with 27 shells and a chambered 1911...that server was fun, I died to a hoard on the west end of Novodmitrovsk all the way up NW after I reached the north and was heading towards Tisy...I was gutted (sad, don't know if the zombles gutted me afterwards or not). I still think A2 DayZ Mod and Arma 3, A3 especially, are better games, but I fell in love with DayZ again with SA....sadly I've started to get angry with it, they utterly refuse to return vehicles to client side like they used to be and how they are in the Armas, cars drive great in their other games, sure they're fragile and blow up, but at least you know what will kill them, instead of them killing you randomly as you fly off into space, and they refuse to give us the ability to use headless clients like in Arma, if they gave us the ability to use HC, the game, the zombles, and the cars would be so much better, you could actually have legitimate hordes without lag and crap, we could finally get AI missions going like in old DayZ/Epoch/Overwatch/Overpoch/Origins...I really don't understand their thinking, this is the only game where they've removed more content and functionality than it had prior to, even during Standalone times, let alone what Epoch or Origins Mod had in content and functionality. You know Epoch Mod for A2 just had an update, an update to a decade old game mod, which in itself, just this update, has more added content than in the whole game of DayZ SA? They also make the absolute worst decisions, like making batteries drain on car start, but NOT having the cars recharge their batteries while running....there was a mod already that had all of that, PLUS recharged the battery while running! They remove leather crafting, dyeing and tanning, finally bring it back, but literally killed the entire process of tanning, refused to return the ability to dye it, and literally only gave us one single backpack instead of the entire leather outfit from head to toe, like WTF? No speed loaders, no moon clips for the Magnum, no weapon painting, no more berries, no more bow and arrow, no more crossbow and bolt, no more Derringer, no more making burlap rifle wraps and especially no more sticking grass inside the burlap rifle wrap...they just keep removing everything cool and refusing to fix the main issue, cars and base building....hell, someone made a mod called "Vanilla Base Building Plus" which was vanilla base building, which I love the look of, but instead of just a wall and watchtower, it had different sized door walls, openable window walls, a garage ECT, all the stuff vanilla DayZ SA SHOULD'VE had by now, and BI/DayZ literally had the mod removed from the workshop.... because the guy used "old vanilla models"....so these bums as BI/DayZ made these awesome base building parts awhile ago, and then refused to give them to us, and this guy fixed them up and gave them to us, and the bums had them removed! Can't have anything nice.

I was playing and met two people who didn’t know each other and we ran around until one of the randoms died of hunger, and the other random and I ran until we started starving and fought to see who would survive and I won lol. It was sad.
