Daz Gen 9 in Unity

Finally have most of the bugs worked out. Eyelashes are a bit misplaced and lipsync isn't ideal but short of facial performance capture it probably won't get much better. Skin and eyes are good and the mesh is much finer than the other Daz generations.

Can't believe I missed this little charmer this is the kind of thing I like to see being used in quest VR as avatar for an AI program.Having a few options like changing the hair or eye color and adding things like a pair of glasses are always a nice bonus but in general this is really lifelike compared to what's out there that most of us have access to. Unichat I think is the only other one that they have on Quest and I can't get that to do jack and replica has basically been stuck in limbo on the Quest for over a year I don't know why more people aren't looking into the quest to do this kind of thing

Looks good! Is this the latest Daz generation Bob? How do they compare to Character Creator 4 avatars?

Thanks! Yeah that's their Gen 9. I'll be testing a few more Gen 9s now that I have some animation kinks ironed out. They are probably as good as CC4 but maybe with added flexibility for shaping? I don't use CC but your characters look great. We're not in Metahuman territory yet but those require a lot of horsepower to render.
