Hi Mike, thanks for making this video as everyone always skips over the export settings. I can't get past the 'Failed to load character: No suitable setup profile found' error message when I use Transformer CC3+ in CC4. I've scanned through most of your videos, but could you plesse be a gent and let me know which video it is you've made that shows you how to solve this? I've been trying for absoultely hours to get this to work - which is bizarre as I'm pretty sure it used to be simple to do. Thank you so much :)

This can occur for a few particular issues, but it would be easiest if you told me *exactly* what you are trying (what specific model you are trying to bring in, including any clothing or other accessories). Most of the time I will have it and can then tell you the precise steps you need to go through. If it's a Daz model that would be great if you could tell me the name(s).

Hi Mike, thanks so much for replying. It's the 'H&C Checkered Shirt Outfit for Genesis 8 Male(s)' outfit for Genesis 8. I've watched so many videos, and tried everything. Last thing I wanna do is pay for the expesive Reallusion clothing when I've already paid for this in Daz. I hope you can help!

I totally understand, thank you :) I got it to work in the end, exporting the items out individually. as FBXs. When you load the whole outfit in one in Daz and export everything - Transformer doesn't accept it. Which isn't great.

@@cardermedia I can show you how to do this fairly easily to get Transformer to work. I'm actually going to do a livestream today (well, this afternoon) and I realize your time might not match up - plus, Thanksgiving - but it will be available to watch by this evening and it will show all of this in case you have another outfit like this.

Yes, as I say in many videos, you will need to install Pillow in order to run my script. You need to install it in whatever product you are using - either CC4 or iClone 8 (or if you are using both, you need to install Pillow in TWO separate places). See my videos on how to do this.

I go to Discord only when I have to, and then it's kicking and screaming. LOL. What website did you go to where it looked like I was off the internet? If it was my main Kelleytown one, then, yes, that has been a LONG time, but my KZbin channel is fairly active (I'm old but still around :>). What, exactly, are you looking for? Is there some particular technique or approach you want to learn? I can certainly point you toward resources for a lot of things. My main issue with Daz3d to CC4 items are the shoes. Or any outfit that's a full body suit going down to the feet. I know you did a video on it, and I need to watch it again, but I find it easier to buy outfits on Daz and just use shoes from Reallusion. Because everything else works, just not the shoes.

Gen 9 shoes are a definite problem and I do have a couple of tutorials on some workarounds. But most other shoes shouldn't be an issue. If you do find particular shoes you have a problem with just let me know and I'll be glad to test them out to see.

@@MikeDKelley It's the Genesis 9 shoes. I buy a lot of the Gen 9 stuff because it has a lot of good morphs. The clothes ending up fitting perfectly - but the shoes are a killer.

@@JP-hh3mt Yeah, something is fundamentally wrong with the Gen 9 shoes - but I have no real idea how to fix them all. One thing you might try, though, is to refit them to an 8 figure. I have the script that does this and I've had a *bit* of success with it.

thanks for the tutorial. when i do not check mark on morph option unable to import in cc4. but after this tutorial i will try again. i am using costomize charachter in daz and my cc version is cc4.4..

If you have any Daz item/charcter/set you are trying to import without success just let me know which one it is and I'll see what the problem is.
