I live downtown and pass by the Bradbury building every day. As you have mentioned the building is historic many movies and TV shows have been filmed at this location. One of my favorites that you have missed was with Robert Culp with the old Si-Fi series Outer Limits, Demon with a Glass Hand (1964). This episode won the Writer's Guild award for best screenplay in 1965, the first of four awarded to Harlan Ellison.

Great video! It was in a Twix commercial also. I was a contractor and did work there frequently for a period of time. LAPD has offices on 3rd floor I think. The basement is haunted and it looks like something from a murder/slasher movie. Very creepy down there, old brick with dim lighting. Love the videos. 🖒

Being inside this building has been the closest I've ever felt to time traveling. There's a certain atmosphere that takes your breath away. The natural light coming in from the top atrium and casting down on the architecture is something to experience. The outside of the building is very plain which probably adds to the grandeur inside. I'm glad that this is a historical & cultural site. I hope this survives multiple earthquakes and greedy developers in the future . This location was used in countless TV commercials as well and the office building in Pixar's CoCo.

It does have one tie to Ray Bradbury in that the elevator was used in the intro to his series, Ray Bradbury Theater. It was not Ray in the elevator in the introduction, but that beautiful old elevator was what opened his show in every episode.

I ;lived in downtown Los Angeles from 1956 to 1960 and again from 1980 until 2005. I lived at the ElDorado Hotel from 1958 to 1960, for $45 per month. Nice big room with bath. Now it is lofts for about $500 million. I watched Double Indemnity again last night. I wonder if the office in the movie was in the East part of the Bradbury Building. The main part of the Bradbury was certainly in many movies.

That building on the inside is DEFINITELY unique!!! I personally think its quite beautiful architecturally- I understand why they chose that location to do certain shots of the Blade Runner. Thanks for going to this location it was worth the trip for sure! =D

It's a beautiful old building. I think there's a theatre across the street that was one of hthe old silent theatres dating from 1918....and if I remember correctly, there's a clothing market there also.
