My brother lived in Jerry's new york tv neighborhood. The diner, Chinese restaurant, pub are all there. The exteriors at least. But a building this size wouldn't fit. My brothers building was fairly small and narrow. Very cramped little neighborhood.

Omg! This building is off 8th street and Vermont ave in mid Wilshire in Los Angeles I actually moved into this building in 1994 I was only 20 years old and this was my first apt as an adult. I paid a total of $575 for a studio apt my rent was $375 per month , I remember watching the oj Simpson chase on my 20 inch tv, and I was in this apt when the big scary northridge earthquake hit. I had to dive under my kitchen table because part of the ceiling fell! The crazy memories at the Shelly’s is permanently embedded in my mind

not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but the apartment building is certainly not the only Los Angeles location shown on the show. when Kramer lets go of the rickshaw and Newman goes flying backwards - that’s definitely in Los Angeles on a city street.

10:03 no, Kramer's apartment was opposite Jerry's. So his window would be on the other side of the apartment facade. So, Kenny Rogers restaurant would have been on the other side of the apartment (not where the Taco Bell currently is located in your video). In fact, Kramer switched apartments with Jerry during that episode because the "Red Light" was hitting Kramer's apartment, but not Jerry's.

Check out Curb your Enthusiasm HBO. There are tons of clips on KZbin. You'll see the Genius behind Seinfeld as the lead character. Yes, Seinfeld did star in it and I love him, but it was Larry David (co-creator) who made the show a success. It was his idea to have multiple plots and was in Seinfeld many times for short clips. Jerry Costanza's lawyer in a cape, that's him. And who can't forget the voice of George Steinbrenner. Too many to list, but they can be seen on KZbin. My apologies if you already knew this.

I love this show it is the best ever . Jordan guess what , Newman lived in that building as well. My favorite episode was when Cramer was in the back of the fire truck driving like the nutcase he portrayed. Thanks for all your hard work.

I like your video but here are some corrections. you mentioned Seinfeld was on top in the ratings the entire time it was on air. That's not true. infact it was almost canceled initially due to bad ratings....only reason it stayed on was the new head of NBC liked it and wanted to keep it going. you also talked about each character in the show having a mini sub plot...The show "friends" also used a similar strategy in their show
