Within the Beaulieu complex, the National Motor Museum Trust’s Collections Centre houses and cares for a vast array of images, films, memorabilia, books, publications, archival material, parts and other motoring related objects and artefacts. These collections have been awarded Designated status - official UK government recognition of their outstanding national importance.

Hi there, I recently bought a 2017 TT and have been enjoying your videos. I notice lots of you have black fuel filler caps, have you had them painted/wrapped or can you buy black ones? Also I an a bit disappointed with mine as I am noticing bubbling on the dash pad, only in certain light but its really annoying me! do you know if this is common and if yes us there a fix? Appreciate your advice, Regs Paul

Hey Paul, thanks for the message and congrats on your TT. I had mine painted, it’s a much better finish. Some have wrapped and. It so good around the details. You can plasticote them too but painting is the best option. I’m not sure what is a dash pad? Is this a typo or will I learn something here? 😆

@@ITSARAPPTTRS Thanks fro the fast reply, OK I will look into getting mine painted. The car is Nano Grey with black wheels and the filler will look much better in black i think. The top of the dash board above the vents (what I'm calling the dash pad) is a soft textured rubberized material, and I have some bubbles/bumps in it. I didn't see it when I bought the car a couple of weeks ago but in certain light they really stand out. Irritates me so much :-( I'm very interested to know if its a common issue?

@@pauljoel4514 oh I’ve never heard of this issue before, that’s new to me. Sounds like someone used a cleaner that’s reacted with the plastic.

@@ITSARAPPTTRS I cant see a cleaning product doing it, its like the glue has failed under the dash pad and it is lifting in places. The top surface is unmarked, the car is 28K mile 1 owner and the rest of the interior is good. Looks like if it is fixable it will be a very expensive exercise, its going to drive me nuts! I will have to go to Audi and get their opinion, thanks again.
