Here's a walkaround (with a funky beat!) of my 1961 BSA A10 650cc Spitfire Scrambler, the factory race bike built by BSA to compete against Triumph, other BSA (such as the Gold Star), Norton, Matchless, AJS, Royal Enfield, Greeves, etc., in desert and scrambles races in the late '50s, early '60s.
This is a gorgeous restored example, which makes you wonder what it was like to take one of these beautiful, 400-lb beasts brand new and thrash it across the grueling California deserts at over 70mph! I'm sure all that beautiful paint and chrome and polished alloy didn't make it go any faster in the desert, but it certainly did make it exit dealer showrooms faster!
