And then they proceeded to replace it with Red, a movie about a girl getting horny for grown boys, rebelling with her friends and having mommy issues, that story was more important to tell

Now, I LOVED ninjago when I was younger. I still watch it when a new season comes out, but it's not the same. The main problem with the lego ninjago movie, is that most of the watchers would've been long time fans of the show. On it's own, I agree. It's a really funny movie that can stand as a good reboot. But in the context of the show, and the reboot never going anywhere since then, it drags it down a bit. And that's coming from someone who watched that movie almost every night for a whole summer when it came out

I recently read an article about the Sony CEO talking about how Playstation doesnt have any huge Mainstream franchises to make movies out of and people overloaded the twitter accounts with so many franchises sony has dropped and as i sit and think about Sony Animation studios output over the years outside of the Spiderverse films im just so dissapointed. They could've done something with a Crash Bandicoot/Spyro/Sly Cooper film but they fumbled the ball with th3 Rachet And clank film and wouldnt even try again
