It was because in bt3 the most forms a character could have was 4. And Mui goku was also called Goku (Super), so if sign wouldn't fit.

@@BooperXI Bruh by that logic... Super saiyan 4 Vegeta was also called Vegeta super saiyan 4 (second form), which was the tag used for buu saga vegeta in that game... Didn't mean he could transform into super saiyan 4, just 1 and 2... So really it doesn't mean anything, it's only a way they used and I think still use to group characters together, so that there is a sense of coherence NOTHING ELSE....

@aslination Yea, but you're still ignoring the fact that a character can only have 4 transformations. At that time we didn't know that Ui goku was going to be a whole separate character. All we saw on the website was mui goku next to Super goku which would make up 4 forms.

He could still be a transformation, I mean I ain't discarding that thought all together, like it could be something like the great saiyaman; Like goku can only go into his regular god forms and ui sign, But when he goes ui sign he attains the capability to mastered ui cuz it technically is just an extension of that... It’s kinda makes sense that Ultra Instinct Goku would be its own character. As far as this game is concerned, it’s adapting the anime. & in the anime continuity it hasn’t established that Goku can access UI at will yet like the manga. So it makes sense why There’s seperate DBS Goku slots for that reason. Still wouldve been cool to transform into UI

I’d give UI sign Goku and UI Goku, autonomous ultra instinct as a blast 1, which would work similar like sonic sway. For a cost of 3 Skill Count Goku will dodge anything for 20 seconds.

@@shadowflame68 The devs probably made it similar to xenoverse 2, since they took aspects from different DB games (like the beam clash mechanic, were you have to press a button when the meter fills up to save our Joysticks). Goku will automatically dodge, but this will deplete his Ki (I mean their is no Stamina in this game, so Ki is the next best choice). Once his Ki is completely depleted he will be put into a fatigue state.

You know what would be dope? If when you’re using UI Sign you can only transform into the full UI when your health bar reaches red and lower. Then you can transform and you regain all your health.
