No, not the same set up, the brackets will work, but no IR link, etc. only can use like boxes for inverted stacking.

Thanks for watching the videos ! I love our IG4Ts and many clients that have purchase IG4T have found them to be their speaker of choice. The IG3T is good as well, but for column height and coverage I like the IG4T best when coupled with a subwoofer. Look at the SUB18H from db Tech. We use the FBT SUBLINE 218SA and find them a perfect match for the IG4T , but any good powered subwoofer with a crossover will do very well with the IG4T's

They are going to be really close in sonic quality as drivers, and crossover points are very close. The FBT is heavier but is WOOD box and offers a bit better protection against resonance of the enclosure.

We are a "mobile church". One day we replaced our Bose F1/812 top with a IG4T owned by a church member. I can say that dB Tech IG4T definitely sounded better than a Bose F1/812. Vocals were fuller. As with the Bose, we did not have any feedback issues. We used the same 18" sub (not Bose), only the top was changed. The dispersion is also wider.

I think better, the IG4T is my favorite, as the tall column has great dispersion in the H x V, different animals so to speak but I like the output, coverage, weight and best the scalability to do 2 per side and have a small amount of digital steering

The 1518N is a great single 18" sub and has the latest G2 amp and great drivers in it, but it is about $1000 more than the 8004 from RCF, specs are close and with the added power they can get a wee bit more from the 1518N for max SPL. I just wish DB had a sub between this and the SUB18H. The 18H is decent, but the 8004 is my favorite single 18" in the mid price point arena...the VIO single 18" is AMAZING, but does cost quite a bit more...

The IG4T will out run that sub, you will need at least a single 18 to keep up with it. KS10 or SUB18H or RCF 8004 or 8003 or FBT SUBLINE 118 will pair nicely with the IG4T's

Great channel! Quick question, we currently have KW181s and recently picked up an RCF 905asII with the 2200 watt amp since the price was too good to pass up. I saw your response to the other fella regarding with pairing to the KW181. I should have no issue running an IG4T or dual stacked IG1T's with the RCF 905 correct? Thanks in advance. The IG4T will outrun you sub hands down. The 2200 watts is peak, so around 1100 watts RMS power, QSC might be 600 watts RMS on a good day. For the IG1T, yes dual stacked should be fine. We can get a IG4T to outrun a double 18 in some instances....the NXL24 are nice as well, but IMO not as versatile as the IG4T's dual stacked the IG4T has more features to them and lighter :-)

SPL is one thing , but we don't know what freq the max SPL readings were taken from either DB or RCF. Tonality the RCF has the lower xover point vs. DB, similar drivers for the cone speakers. The wood box does make some difference. The DB box has a better or more versatile DSP in them, either can be used in inverted pairs. Vocal wise, IMO, RCF wins due to the lower xover point and larger HF driver.

110 degree horizontal and 90 degree vertical pattern... Pretty impressive. So one of these (or two stacked) will cover almost any dance floor I play on. Sounds like this is a system that can do fine on just one side or centered. Am I wrong?

You can put 2-3 of them on 15A ckt, as long at that is all that is on ckt. just make sure your are running #14 or #12 ga. wire for power feeds to avoid issues. anything smaller over distance will cause power drop.

If you are sitting on the fence getting these, just go ahead and bite the bullet. We've run IG4T's with KW181s (for now) and these speakers are absolutely insane. The clarity is amazing. A pair of IG4T's and a pair of KW181s will do 350-400 people no problem. Especially when stacked.....absolutely out of this world and they look sexy as heck. We have since sold all of our QSC 2-ways with the exception of a couple of K10s that we use for monitors, fills, small venue work, etc. 99% of the time, the IG4Ts will be used for DJ playback...

Yes, the IG4T is a sleeper speaker that more folks need to hear and see. We do events of 1000 with a pair per side and 2 x 18 subs each side. With 900WRMS of power, they do the job and more.

They are very similar to each other but the db IG4T has same power as FBT and looks like same type and size of HF driver. only different is one is wood being FBT... the IG4T has more features such as vertical steering and built in crossovers. Also the weight is a factor and the IG4T for us wins...the 3 , being RCF, FBT and dB tech are all excellent column systems and when you combine 2 per side the results are short of amazing....

We have done 700-1000 at decent levels for outdoor concerts in the park here locally. And, most of the audience was behind our FOH position due to shade trees since those were summer events. If the crowd was closer maybe more. Also, coverage will be greater if you can get the up higher and steer down the 10 degrees. We spec'd out a system for a high school in San Francisco for their theater that held 700 or so and no issues, we just had them put on the wall at around 16' to the top of the first box...their response was OMG !

Will these completely outrun a db sub 15h? I don’t want 18 inch bins as we often play in very small venues. I’d prefer 15 inch bins.... I’m sure the bins would give up way before the ig4t. I was thinking then down the line we could stack a 2nd set of 15h bins to more evenly match the ig4t in larger rooms?

They will .... you can always adjust the volume so that the boxes are even in SPL. Your idea of adding another 15 is good. We have 2 of the IG4T per side and they will outrun a double 18" sub. The IG series speakers will not disappoint you at all... very nice sound and output and 900WRMS...we love the IG4T we use in our production.

the IG2T should sound very good with a SUB15H, a good match for the size of the sub and top box and the 2T power factor should run close to the SUB15H for output levels.

The IG series are much lighter and easier for set up and have some steering ability that NXL24 does not. The NXL24 sound very good as well, and I like the longer length of the IG4T or NXL24 vs. the IG3T to get better coverage IMO. You will not beat the 8004 for output, but, the FBT118SA is right in there as well. So, if i were to go with ONE mfr. it would be RCF with the NXL24 and SUB8004's, a bit heavy but sound and output , well, amazing...

would not recommend laying them flat , the horn is not rotatable and you loose the asymmetrical aspect of the speaker horn...we use single units on stands or stacked on subs and work out great. no need to fly them...we stack a pair on a dual 18 sub, standing up or laying down (the sub) and have had no issues...just need to be aware of people in front when they are close to speaker as SPL levels can get fairly high with the IG4T that close in.

They are not the same type of systems. We like the ease of set up and the weight factor of the IG series. But the sound from the NX45 is amazing with the large HF driver and low cross over point.

The IG3T does a bit better in the LF area...and sounds great, same power as IG4T and features. The 3Ts are a great speaker, but does need a subwoofer for full sound, as with the IG4T's. We did an event today with the IG4T and this series always makes me smile...and the band and crowd was blown away with the output. The IG3T is similar...they will amaze you !

No issus with the horizontal dispersion of the speakers. I like the IG4T the best since it is the tallest column of the 2 and 2 per side is most amazing for sound output. We did test with subs on and subs off and the LF from the IG4T's without subs was respectable at volume. The IG3T may do LF a bit better due to 10" drivers, but my pick is the IG4T's

driven hard maximum of 4A would be my take on it, since the power supply is switch mode and very good with power requirements, we have driven 2 IG4T tops and 1 dual 18" sub off one 20A ckt with no issues.

I like the sound of the IG4T the best, and yes , 2 of the SUB15H per side would be amazing...nice and tight, but with the hybrid design the do a good job of going low as well.

Different animal....the IG2T has more DSP and expansion than the 732, sound wise the 732 is going to be a bit smoother due to lower cross over point of the larger driver on the 732. but depends on what you are wanting to use the speakers for.

The RCF are smoother, larger driver in the HF and lower xover point. The IG4T are impressive and the weight is amazingly light for the output of these speakers, but for pure fidelity the NXL24's win.

Yes for a sub in that class/series of power, etc. The IG2T is an amazing box and with the expansion to a 2nd set, OMG will have output that will make you smile. We will be doing an IG2T video very soon.

They are a bit different. The IG4T has a 3" HF with 1.4"VC an 1100hz xover. vs. 1200hz about same size of HF, but LF is almost identical...frequency response will be similar. Difference is injection molded vs. wood box. I do like the IG4T for the added features and digital steering when two boxes are in combined mode. The IG4T is lighter due to the construction. I like lighter boxes. We do 1000 peeps with 2 per side over dual 18 subs with the IG4T...either one will bring you very good sound.

I would do the IG3T with larger 10" speakers. They are not as tall as IG4T but do a very good job and full sound. The stack plates are extra accessory, but if you do not have a 2 x 18 sub to put on and get up around 40-48" , i would use short poles, as the speakers on a single subwoofer will be too low to get effective coverage.

Yes it will, in-fact one will almost out run an 8006 - you would need 2 of the 8003 per side to almost be even...or just turn down the NXL by 3-6db and should be uniform and balanced.

They will work good, but the IG4t will out run the SRX818SP's most likley need 2 subs of that model for each IG4T and you will need to set the cross over correctly to coincide with the IG4T 80hz is the lowest I would go, better is 100hz and up to the IG4T speakers.
