Just got my Mission one and mission two a few days ago!!!! Absolutely love them! I suggest black para cord over the black string. It looks meaner and gives it some distinction form the OG Lile.

I honestly don't care much about a Rambo knife collection but I am absolutely going to consider this one as my next "big" knife purchase. This thing just looks too cool and as an outdoor/hunting knife looks like it will be superb.

Nice blade I kind of like the fact that it doesn't have all those sharp saw points on the top of the blade. It looks like it would make a great outdoors knife and a welded on guard is tough. Thanks for the great review, nice design. 👍👍😎

What i like about your rambo Series is that you completly changes them and make them your own!! I realy love that! Freaking badass blade brother!! I love that you change the width on the blade! And the fact its a fulltang is a defently a upgrade! The thing Can withstand a nuclear blast man!! You defently have a knife that you Can pass down in gerneraton to come! God job! Looks great! I have the Mission III and John J Tribute from the series. Not that you'd ever have the problem, but if you had to pick just 1 blade from the series, which would it be? I've always been partial to the III, but the II just looks so badass with the black.

That's tough. The III is bad ass and the II is a demon. But for straight up use... Maybe the VI? Funny, because the Heartstopper is my least favorite, but the way my version came out is super comfortable and super useable.

But I got a question you said your version of the MK-8 knife will be the last knife for your Rambo knife collection, what about the Rambo 3 prototype knife, Rambo 4 machete prototype or even Lile version of the Rambo 3 knife, would you release those as well?

The Lile 3 prototype was too ugly to recreate. The hidden part 2 knife that was in one scene was nothing more than a copy and mix of the 1st 2 Lyle knives. My dbad 5 is more of a mix between the 5th movie knife and the hidden prototype

dbad, I like to know how much the knife would cost if I wanted to modify it, if I ordered mine it would be the same size as your misson 3 knife, have a rambo 2 style of sheath, reason why is so I can carry a firesteel, have better teeth cause I want to be able to use them, not just for the iconic look, an actual finger choil for finner work, and give it a leather wrap, I want to give it a purpose as a survival knife like what it was supposed to be. (also, I was wondering why you didn't give it lanyard holes like the original, they were located at the guard)

Thank U in advance to create a Dbad version of the Rambo last blood knive 👍👍👍 The only Last blood creation that was ok was from Pohl force but they sold out and wont be produce anymore ☹️ And the United cutlery Version is sharp at the handle not well produced and cant survive a real field test... So its time that U help us out with a Dbad version that the Big firms in the knive Marketplace will learn how to create a cool looking replica of a movie knife that we realy can use and dont break appart by just knowing that a field test is coming...

Yesterday I got my Tempsky Bowie I have a tone of Tops / Condor/Cold Steel /Fällkniven/Extrema Ratio etc. but they all didnt satisfy me to lets say at least 80 % As I saw Ur designed knives I knew what I was looking for. Cool looking knives with them U are realy able to do also hard bushcrafting tasks I also hope that U will create a Machete in the future one that slice thru wood like the skrama that Looks a like the DPX Heft Chop 12 millitary and be unbreakable like the Svörd Tempsky Bowie or the Svörd Britisch Army Pattern But fortunatelly a lot of Ur creations are so big /large that we all can wait for this day without missing a thing having Ur creations wich are allready available 👍

Hi Donnie, just wondering if you could do a review/test on the Klein Duct knife at some point. It's a cheap knife (£20), meant for cutting ducting, but it's also very like a super budget version of the SOG Desert Dagger. It has serrated side, and a standard edge side. Rubberised grips, and a steel hammer butt. I got one the other day, and it sharpens to a nice edge. Just wondering how much abuse it can take......

yo dbad... got my Mission I last week. Mission III and John J are in the mail. thinking bout going for the full pull and getting the II also. qwik question whats the easiest method for edge touch up or resharpen for the mission I & II. those edge bevels are looking daunting. meybe a video? thanx in advance for any info.

you can use a file or sharpening rod and even light grit sandpaper for honing. For full sharpening, I personally use a belt grinder with very light grit

Now my Dbad knives collecting starts 😀 First of all of course the Preacher and the Rambo 3 Dbad version. I wont waste my money anymore on "maybe good" knives...For example I bought the Fällkniven Modern Bowie for over 900 USD several years ago 😒 But I saw that each of your knives are much more relyable U didnt just create cool looking knives U made real knives U can also abuse and they will be ok after that and thats awesome a Big THANK U for that👍 I also have the original Rambo 3 Gil Hibben and U know what ...after I saw Ur Ddad Rambo 3 I hate my Gil Hibben that will break on a field test not so Ur knives 👍 The coming years are my DBad collecting years and I cant thank U enough for that 👍 🤔I should open a Dbad Store in Vienna...
