keep the tank 70-80 degrees f and all you have to do is put a mae guppy in with a group of females

Nice clean looking room, like it, I subbed you have nice looking guppies. I have my first baby/fry guppies right now, someone gave them to me. When do they start getting their colors? Just curious. I've had them about a month, just moved 6 to my bigger tank. I always get molly babies never guppies. LOL.

theyll get there color around like 8 wks but some develope slower than others so could be up to 10 12 even sometimes some of the babies take more room in mama so they become the little runts lol

LOL too funny... about the runts... I've noticed this now that mine are 3/4 months now. Wow I got some gorgeous colors on all of them. 5-6 have a redish/bluish/orange & then 1 bluish one & 1 blackish one, some w/yellow tails...is so cool to watch them, I can see why breeders like them or people for fun. They have been some of the funniest fry to watch grow. Thanks for answering! ;))

No conditioners, normal wother. Tank temp is 23-25C. I feet artemia, granulat energy protein & green, tropical fleks, micro worms, frost food.

Jolar27 Make sure your tank is cycled and get your water quality right or you will see that more often, the best thing you can do is put a little salt in your water help prevent bad bacteria. don't wast your money on the medicines for fish most of the time they don't help, take it as a los and learn from it :)

Veggamattic the plants help put oxegen into the tanks they also help with ammonie nitrate and nitrite and the fish feed the plants with there waste as the plants help the fish live a happier healthier life hope i answered the question for you

you can buy this vacuum type thing at any petstore and use that itll suck out the wasteand water at the same time dont do more than 25% of your tank at a time and whatever water you put back in make sure you use a conditioner say u put 2 gallons back condition 2 gallons and so on

orange is a dominant trait, purple is quite rare. =) might want to get an endler female and breed w/ that purple one.

yolo visje try to get a predominately 'blank' female for him, unless you can find a purple female or a blueish one (make sure it doesn't have black in it otherwise they'll all be black) post a picture of it? i've always wanted a nice set of albino purple.

I ja cu jednoga dana kad se vratim za stalno u HR napraviti Guppy room. Mozda bi se mogli i upoznati. Di ste u HR? Ja bi napravio na vasem mjestu tkz "drip system" koji cistu vodu dovodi po principu kap po kap do svakog akvarija. Ta svjeza voda bi bila tretirana aktivnim ugljenima, UV, odstajala, kisnica po mogucnosti itd. Tada ne trebate filtere. Zatim bi izbusio pozadinu akvarija i visak vode bi odlazio u kanalizaciju ili centralni filter(nema izmjene vode). Takodjer bi napravio neki sistem koji bi artemiju/hranu vodio do svakog akvarija ali to jos nisam smislio. Zatim grijao bi prostoriju a ne svaki akvarij. Trebalo bi bolje izolirati sobu da skoro nema gubitaka topline. Itd...
