THIS! rn I just got a dwarf bannana plant and a stawbery plant because there's no general guide on which plants are safe so I just gave them the two plants that I would eat lol.

My crested and gargoyles are in my bedroom and every night you hear them doing crazy shit so the bigger the better. Eventually I’d like to get 24x24x36 for all of them but I currently don’t have the space for that. They are set up in 20 gal tanks w I heart gecko doors. I also give them uvb here and there

It still absolutely blows my mind ppl gow out buying living animals with out doing any kind of basic reading or now even just youtube ... I never thought not to give them water... same thing for the bearded dragon.. give em water or atleast a quick bath to drink! They drink water! Dealing with a dehydrated dragon rn it's insane 😢

Current ExoTerras don't rust anymore since they changed the metal mesh And if you provide a warmer place for your crested gecko they will hide there during the day so I think providing a bit of warmth would be best.

Its definitely easiest when it comes to cost if you only have 1. Having a handleful makes that cost for the absolute dream setups for them to be costly and takes up a large amount of space. I got 4, two babies housed together in a 12×18×24, one adult male in a 18×18×24, and one semi adult housed in a 24x18×18 since he doesn't seem to much height since I've always seen him countlessly at night in the middle of the cage or walking around on the ground and was never in his top hide. All temps were pefect 78-80 max at the top, 70 mid and 65 ground. Hes the same temps in the 6 inch shorter cage and is uses every inch as far as ive seen. He actually climbs in his top hide

My own lil frogbutt is in a 2x2x2! He runs all over the place and even goes upside down on the top. tho hes....scared of live bugs? XD ive tried to give him a VARIETY of feeders and hes terrified of them

Bonus bonus tip, 9/10 your crested gecko will not drink out of a water bowl, they will use it as a toilet. They drink water when you spray the enclosure, an automatic sprayer is almost necessary for all tropical pets.

A lot of sources online and sellers will say that cresties don’t need a water bowl to make the argument that they’re super easy so they can make a profit, so I wouldn’t put people down for that misconception

I was hoping you had some breeding info. I’ve been trying to get mine to lay eggs in the lay box. But she keeps laying at the back of the tank where I don’t look untill it’s too late and the egg is smashed or moldy. She only lays once every 6 weeks and I’m trying to put a video out on it but not having any luck finding the eggs in time. Any advice?

My baby crested loves dubias but he doesn't seem to like the CGD too much. He eats it but sometimes goes days without eating. He's growing cuz i see him pooo and hes gaining as whe should. Started out at about 3.5 4g and hes at 6g now. I could be mistaken but i don't really notice him eating the CGD. His enclosure is small enough for a baby but big enough to give him room to move. Plus his temperature is between 68 on the cool side to 79 Hot side amd humidity is between 50 to 80. Ive tried a bunch of different flavors of Pangaea and even repashy but still doesn't seem to eat ir regularly, he used to. Any thoughts?

my cresties are so dumb they never find they're food bowls and I have to hand feed them any advice? ALSO what age should you introduce live insects to your Cresties? I have a pair together and a seperate baby (not from pair) 7 months old and she and baby will eat live insects. The baby actually is a monster hunter and is a crazy hunter, maybe I introduced them to him too early cause he trys to chomp his pangea lol. but my male is a weenie and won't eat any live insects. let me know what you think

I really wish someone had answered your question. I just got my first crested two days ago. With my jumping spiders, if their enclosure is too large, they have a hard time locating their food. Try a smaller one for a week to see if it helps. 🫶🏽

Do you have humidity gage? Before I got a fine mist spray bottle I just used the spray on squirter bottle not the stream... if u have live plants they don't need to be over saturated so I just spray the side of the enclosure an my humidity stays great I spray about every night because of where I live but if my gage says the humidity is fine I don't mist

Usually 18 long 18 wide 24 wide but as they say bigger is better. and it's not recommended to put two adult males together.

Do they drink standing water from a bowl or only droplets from misting?

I put just a lil bottle cap with water just for my personal comfort. I’ve never seen any sign that it’s been used after 2 years. They truly just seem to drink the droplets. I always ensure that I’ve sprayed enough that water is dripping down the sides and the leaves for this reason. Just make sure it’s drying out between misting. It shouldn’t be dripping wet ALL the time 😊

Don’t waste you’re money on zen I own a 4x2x2 zen habitat and a 4x2x2 Dubia reptile habitat and the zen is almost twice as expensive while being made of much cheaper materials The zen habitat comes with acrylic sliding doors, easily scratched theDubia comes with glass, sliding doors the top screen on the zen is flimsy in comparison to the Dubia it’s like a screen door compared to the nice trustworthy sturdy top on the Dubia

Try smaller maybe ? I put mine in a big enough dish n they just grab em out n go a little crazy lol even my babies will take some small meal worms out of a small dish
