My theory is that for a person without a strong SENSE of logic, they have to rely on their animal brain that only uses their physical senses to find you almost exclusively. That being said one only needs to look to animal camouflage to explain what is happening here: The legions brain is looking for cues that indicate the presence of target, mostly movement, but it’s also the human form itself. Humans have heads, and they have two arms and two legs. If you can “break up” what is able to be discerned from the background sufficiently then you can prevent the animal brain from identifying these markers so the signal of “there’s a person!” Is never sent. What’s funny to me, is that you watched the legion have the same alarming experience MULTIPLE times before they FINALLY blindly swung at the bush… but the swung short… wow…. The misfortune of the short swing cannot be understated…had they hit you… they would’ve have the relief of an epiphany… the realization that THE MOTHERFUCKER WAS IN THE BUSH THE WHOLE TIME!!…. and never again would this player fall victim to that simple technique again. What’s said however, is that this sense of logic doesn’t seem to be easily gained… so that means this person might never have the ability to deduce things like we can. Bummer. I’m on a survivors ass… then POOF… well… there’s only so far they could’ve gone from the time I last saw them, and I’ve already seen certain directions so they can’t be where I’ve seen or am looking…. So they either went really fast suddenly, or they are in fact still here. That obvious bit of logic would never cross that persons mind in that situation. Perhaps they are just someone who gets nervous when they play games..
