On a side note, there are a bunch of characters I never tried in S3 (since v1.21). Instead of making a video to show their changes, I'll probably save them for exhibition videos if I can find time later. I'd most probably be unsure of what the v1.28 patch actually did to them.

The character went from the lowest damaging charcter to one of the most consistently high damaging characters (if you can do the loops and conversions). Powered up Gohan loops are crazy.

she was actually never below average for damage. she has always been able to two touch pretty consistently. she couldn't reach the crazy ToD levels of solo damage other characters could sure she does enough damage in the situations where it mattered. still fucked up her normals straight up used to do less damage but even then she had good damage and meter gain.

@@094176 I've been only playing videl for like a year and still can't do quite properly loops online and still the damage isn't high enough to justify the sacrifice to learn such difficult combos. Now at least does a bit more damage without like destroying your keyboard.

It was j.2H after SD, and then after double jump dj.M you can delay dj.L a bit for positioning. You can also slightly delay dj.2H right before landing, depending on how deep dj.H connected.

Is there any other tips for the first rejump? After delaying the according buttons it seems like i'm out of range for the first j.2H for some reason. What could be causing that?

Delaying the j.L after j.M is to position Videl more toward the right, so that she can be almost directly underneath the dummy later when dj.H connects.

You can get at least three 5S on all characters. A fourth is where it gets very difficult

I'm trying this 1st combo for hours. This only works for me in the wall. What is the 8th and 11th hits that i need to delay? I'm playing against Kid Buu, the same skin, the same stage.

I started the combo with 5L > 5L > 5M > 2M > 5H > SD > j.M > j.L > dj.L > dj.M > dj.H > dj.2H so the 8th hit is due to j.L, and the 11th hit is due to dj.H. (I'm particularly referring to these two moves due to space constraint. Of course, if a different starter were used they might not be the 8th and 11th)

The damage buff may look nice but off stray confirms the difference would be barely noticeable due to scaling. Maybe try to set up corner mixes after j214L with a lockdown assist to make the best off it for two-touches.

I suppose you mean jH j2H? You just need to be positioned lower when jH connects in order for j2H to connect (pause the video on jH to observe Videl’s position), which means depending on your setup you may need to delay things before jH. Do this during the later part of a jump when she’s falling downward.
