Some arrangements for the lines and shots: 1. Speed chess refers to the short revolution (all happened just in two weeks), Markus had to make every choice of his carefully to be right, and there’s only one winner in one of both (Markus and Connor in the end fight). The first scene of chess board is played backwards to indicate that Markus chose this time not to throw this “match” (1.made another decision as a free living free instead of an obedient machine; 2. the fight with Connor who was also his kind) Markus’ last fatal attack on Connor is the “checkmate”, a symbol of killing the representative of obedience. 2. “What they don’t wanna give-” “that’s what got humanity where it is today”. What humans don’t wanna give the androids are freedom, dignity, desire to stay alive and so on alike, but they are also what have helped human evolved over the civilisation. 3. “It’s not over Markus.” with the scene of Markus’ holding dying Carl. This grief of losing the dearest person will never be over either ;w; 4. “That’s what you get for dreaming” with Markus’ accepting Simon’s pumper. The cost of dreaming. (But you can also see it as capturing one’s heart lol..) 5. “Human emotions are intriguing, though I can’t really say that I fully understand them.””I love you/You can’t know how much I miss you.” (no explanation needed I guess..?) 6. “Markus is our savior.” But he couldn’t save everyone :D 7. “Welcome home Markus” The old home no longer existed :D One thing I don’t think I’ve succeeding in presenting it in the video is that, “The messiah saved his people but no one could save him (from his great loss).” I wanted to find a relevant line but failed so ...:( Hope you will enjoy watching if you watch it :D
