I think the natural shift to the younger generation is inevitable, however Goku and Vegeta ARE Dragon Ball at this point. I also think that they are getting so powerful at this point that normal, Earthly issues aren't as big a thing anymore. There needs to be an Earth defense force and the younger Saiyans fill that role. I think if Goku and Vegeta end up just dealing with the universal stuff like they have been while the younger team deals with Earthly issues and they overlap occasionally that's the best outcome. There's a whole multiverse that Goku and Vegeta could explore and deal with and it opens up so much dynamics in how the characters grow.

It's exciting that we will finally get more manga content. Tbh I do hope they don't just make one chapter and stop though, I feel like after Daima and the one shot they really need to have the manga ongoing.and start preparing for the return of the DBS anime sooner than later. They could easily do the Broly arc, Morro arc, Granola arc and Super hero arc by adapting and expanding on existing manga and movies. Lack of content really isn't an issue anymore, especially if they start up the manga again in February so by the time they adapt those arcs they will have another arc or two ready to go as well. Also some people complain about filler but as long as it's not like half the show I enjoy some side stories, like the copy Vegeta arc or the Sr Slump crossover. Nothing wrong with adding some of those between arcs to expand the universe and fill in some extra screen time for the season.

i’m glad to be getting Goten and Trunks content. even though i really have never ever cared for this super hero narrative that post-cell saga dragon ball seems to really fucking love for some reason, goten and trunks are CRIMINALLY underused and they could be such a sick fucking duo if dragon ball treats them like cool dragon ball characters and not just characters who aren’t goku and vegeta.

I really really really hope they do something to give them both crazy transformations. Please don’t just do a ss2 or 3 recap. Maybe find a new type of fusion or maybe… probably not… but maybe Goku saves the bugs from Daima and they pop up in super for Goten and Trunks to use. So many possibilities. Pan won’t be in the main story for a while. She is like 3 or something. I know that didn’t stop little Gohan in DBZ but I don’t know if they will take that approach.

I enjoy Dragon Ball, but what I don't understand is people being baffled that the next villain is so strong that they beat Goku in his strongest transformation "Like its nothing" thats the same cycle they always do, Goku reaches this new super strong form, beats the villain, everyone is amazed with how strong this new form is, then the next villain comes along and they beat the new form super duper easy, then they train and wow? Turns out Goku reached a new form and beats the villain. Its the one thing that bores me about Dragom Ball, with every transformation you'll know with the next villain it'll be waay to weak and its onto the next.

Golden Frieza was already stronger than SSB in its debut. Frieza this time accumulated ten years worth training rather than just four months, so this time it makes a bit more sense. Also his current status only states that he the closest to reaching the level of a God of Destruction but Beerus is still on top.

The criticism of super heroes being centered around gohan and piccolo is so stupid. Literally it's been ages since other Z fighters like piccolo a chance to be at center stage rather than it just being goku. Matter of a fact piccolo was great in that movie, him scolding gohan and taking matters into his own hands, him going undercover in the red Ribbon, and his relation and mentorship with pan. It was all really good stuff
