DBPower 8500L Projector - Best $250 Projector!

I have this projector as an everyday beater. It has an amazing picture for such a small, cheap, led projector. It easily projects a bright, well focused image at 130". I only wish it had frame interpolation/motion smoothing. I have several of Optoma's older flagship DLP 120Hz 3D projectors that have incredible images. I wasn't expecting much from this projector when I bought it on FB for $50, but it can hold it's own up against my Optoma HD91+ LED, 3d, DLP. This DBPower projector has a single speaker with a passive radiator behind it. It is not stereo. Never the less it sounds very good. I prefer single chip DLP projectors over any three chip/panel projectors because I loathe the misalignment on the projected image because of the fact that the image has to be combined from the 3 image chips/panels through a prism. Ugh. The cool thing about this DBPower projector is that it uses a single 5" 1080P LCD panel. The LED shines through it. Then the image is reflected off of a 45 degree mirror, and straight through the lens. A nice simple design that works incredibly well. It has very accurate color, and great contrast. I highly recommend this projector for every day use. Hopefully DBPower will make a similar 4K HDR projector with frame interpolation.

sorry i had a cheaper screen that would never stay flat so i use my wall now, i would look for one that has a screen in a frame if possible

I have this projector and while the picture is amazing the sound output through auxiliary is horrible. Do you know of any way to get better sound through auxiliary? Edit: I found out that using an HDMI Audio splitter works incredibly well. I have crystal clear loud sound now using this little gadget!

They say that led is not as bright as conventional projectors. I just tried it and it's good but I tkink it's a little dark. I used to have a 3000 lumens conventional projector and it was way brighter than this one
