dBrand Skins - Easy to apply, or nightmare in plastics?!

I'm in awe that a KZbinr actually watched the dbrand video on how to apply these. it almost looks like you went out and bought the same model hair dryer they have in their video too 😂 Excellent work. I think I'm sold on buying these.

How does the Track Pad work with the extra "skin"? I'm curious.

It was weird to be honest. I ended up peeling it off. I could see it being nice on a laptop that doesn’t have a nice feeing trackpad, but Apple has the trackpad game down. No reason to mess that up.

Same here, took over an hour each time and I upgrade every 12-18 months going back to the 2016 MBP. So '16, 18, '20, 21, '23. $60+ a pop and once I messed up the top skin completely and had to order a new one. Still debating whether to get one for my M2 Max...

I ended up taking the trackpad piece off a few weeks after I put it on and it seemed to come off just fine. Although the rest is still on. Not sure what to expect if I ever take it off. I think they make a pretty good product so here’s hoping it’s a clean peel! Thanks Romeo!

@@Michael-AC No the track pad works fine, but it felt weird. Not at all as smooth as the Macbook Air's trackpad. It might be better on PC laptops, but just depends on what you have.

You should be able to. If you go to dbrand's website they probably go back that far, especially on the MacBook Pros because that design was around for so long. Thanks Simba!

Damn they no longer sell that shade of green (which is my favorite color) they only have a super bright pastel one now which is kinda ugly, I still might get a blackish one but if they had the green you have I’d pull the trigger in an instant

Oh man! That sucks! I like the bold green. It was a little much at first, but I've gotten used to it. I was hoping for a darker green but they didn't have that when I was looking. Let me know what else you find!
