If bardock had been born under a different star he would have turned a good man like Goku. As when faced with a cruel fate the man showed good was in still in his heart.

What i like most about Solid State Scouter is not even the sense of power and determination that most of the it has. What i really LOVE is the sense of hope you get, i truly makes you fell like nothing can stand in your way.

The reason why I've always loved Bardock is not solely for his character, but for what he represented. He was a terrible person, no doubt, for all that he did, killing countless innocents. But he had a real heart of honor and care for his race, and when the chips were down and everything was telling him that he was going to fail and die, he still went ahead and fought anyway. His drive to change the future and willingness to do it in the face of certain death, believing he can still make a difference, is why I find him so inspirational. In a strange way, I wish I could be more like him, facing my fear of failure and fighting ahead anyway even when it looks absolutely hopeless.
