The 6600kw electric loco is also built in Romania, by Softronic Craiova and named "Transmontana" (it is the firs asincron traction motors loco built in Romania), with UIC registration as class 480, being the 4th in that new built class. DB has an excellent market strategy that includes buying the new type locos like LEMA and other upgraded types (older but with verified efficiency over time) as DSB EA class, romanian 060DA, romanian Phoenix (LE5100 upgraded) as class 471, EMD class 66 from UK, german 232 (Ludmilla) and 219 (Faur U-boats) and recently the british class 92 as class 472. These last ones were each given the name of a romanian personality (Mircea Eliade, Mihai Eminescu etc). Thank you for the good thoughts! All the best!
