Thank you so much for checking out my video! I mentioned a couple of things in the video, but then someone in my Discord mentioned one other thing: There doesn't seem to be a way to delete spaces. They can be edited, but not deleted. Is that functionality on the roadmap for future development? Also, I forgot to mention in the video, there isn't a "forgot my password" feature and that would be super helpful as well. Again, thank you for the great app!

Amazing work on this!! if i had a feature requst, if its possible? to add "no access" to pages. For example "Management group" can access a Fiancial page, but no one else can (or even see it). This one is probably pushing it: i see pages can share, but, if we could share "one" page to someone and they'd only see that one page without having to be a member.?
@philipokugbe5 ай бұрын
@@Travispater101right now, only space-level permissions apply to pages. In a future release, there will be page-level permissions like you suggest. Edit: typo.

Thanks DB, great video as always! ...I still haven't found anything better than bookstack tho. Flatnotes is nice too because there's no database. Thx for bringing us so many great projects!

I can only recommend Docmost for people who don't need it to be part of a bigger workflow system. I've search the interwebs and Docmost documentation and it appears there's no support for named anchors and no API. The former, the named anchors, is the bigger problem. If you're creating documents with any complexity, you'll want to able to cross reference to other places in the same document or within other documents. Other than those deal breakers, it's a really nice piece of engineering and has the potential to become something that's really useful.

I think Ill give this a try, it looks like the features are up my alley. Is there anything out there that could be like a calendar, or an event calendar?

Not sure about a calendar. I know NextCloud has one, but I'm not a fan of NextCloud

I do love me a good note taking software! Do you think this is a replacement for Trillian?
@DBTechYT5 ай бұрын
Trillian is pretty intense with what it can do, so it's all up to what you NEED from a note-taking app! :)

Interesting. How does this stack up against Trilium (which I currently use)?
@DBTechYT5 ай бұрын
Trillium is a far more complex app in its abilities, but you'd have to just take the 2 minutes to install this and compare them for yourself I think

Was there anything about injecting images into the pages? Cloud based Confluence i can just paste an image from my clipboard, makes creating SOPs SUPER quick, does this have a feature like that?

another good video, just want to check if the smtp variable will work for Wordpress docker as well?
@DBTechYT4 ай бұрын
Likley not. Each container is going to have environment variables that it can use. You're better off using an SMTP plugin in WordPress (like this: wordpress.com/plugins/wp-mail-smtp) rather than trying to deploy the container with SMTP settings

This looks interesting. Thanks as always 😊 Stab in the dark about the save frequency... might be like Word online where it saves as soon as you make a change, and tracks all changes. Not sure how this app tracks version history changes, snap shots of the current document or if everything?
