I like how you show a demo and how it works up front, so we can decide if its something we want, then you move to the installation. Probably the best way to handle this.

Hi there, I am happy to see a video on paperless ngx on your channel. Been using the software for about 2 years now, and it gets improved constantly. Can't imagine having been able to do my paper stuff for my own office without paperless before.

Awesome video. I was completely unaware of this, and now I really want to try it. Remember Visioneer Paperport from the late 1990s and early 2000s. It was a document manager with build in OCR the HP bundled with their SCSI-powered scanners. Needless to say, this looks a bit nicer. :P

I remember my dislike for those with a passion lol. It never worked 100% unless you printed something with 20pt fonts lol. This is WAY better than that. You can even set most scanners on you r network to scan to a specific folder now and allow Paperless to auto-import as DB is doing on his setup.

You could check out RackNerd. They've still got some Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals going on: dbte.ch/racknerd2gbkvm (affiliate link) You can get this for $18.93 per year on their sale: 2 vCPU Cores 40 GB Pure SSD Storage 2.5 GB RAM 3000 GB Monthly Transfer They have other options as well, but this might be a good place to start looking :)

Hi, can you explain how you connect to your NAS? I changed USERMAP_UID to 1000 and USERMAP_GID to 100 so that they match my read/write user in OMV. And added these two lines 1) "//192.168.99.3/paperless /mnt/paperless cifs credentials=/root/.smbcredentials,uid=100000,gid=100000 0 0" in fstab of Proxmox 2) a mount point of "mp1: /mnt/paperless,mp=/mnt/paperless" to paperless container The mp=/mnt/paperless will match the lines in yml file here volumes: - data:/usr/src/paperless/data - media:/usr/src/paperless/media - /mnt/paperless/export:/usr/src/paperless/export - /mnt/paperless/consume:/usr/src/paperless/consume but the container can't write to the two folders. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks
