Airier, Goki had four beans at first, used one on himself during the trip, the other three were given to Krillian, Gohan and Vegeta during the fight with the Ginyu Force. Also, headcanon for abridged: every time a bald person constantly calls out 'Vegeta, Vegeta, Vegeta, Vegeta' he sees Nappas face. XD

Goku ate most of the sensu beans on the way here to recover from higher and higher levels of gravity training. When he got here he only had three left which he gave to Krillin, Gohan and Vegeta to help them recover from their fight with Recoome.

Yeah they actually made a foreshadowing joke about it in an earlier episode while Goku was training. "Looks like theres only 4 left. Oh well we won't need that many on Namek" then he eats 1.

You know i hated veggie in the original dbz but in the abridged version he one of my favourites right next to cell
