DBZ BT2: Daily Challenge #2

This was the first try of the day. Which makes me really happy to finally have a video where I can say that. So basically nothing here was planned (excepto knowing which character suck COFpiccoloCOF).
Other than that, this video had more technical difficulties than execution problems. Why do I say that? Well, remember that I explained how my R2 button has to be press all the way down to register. I still haven't got used to that. But also, Dabura sucks as a character and I never understood well in this match which punches were cancelable with R2. So not only I sometimes didn't press the button when I intended to, but sometimes I did press it and nothing happened. So it was hard to know what the hell I was doing.
Other than that, I think I maintained the flow pretty well to be a first try. I also like how the mistakes keep pilling up and at the end you will never know if I end up winning or not.

4:33 - 4:35 I've been thinking about trying that in BT3 ever since I saw you do it in that TAS vid. It would be so epic to manually pull that off.

+warhawk059377 | The Hawk It's really not that hard. And even if you have an emulator, you can record yourself with a savestate to do infinite retries. Also, 3:33 is better because I actually did it clean

Really? I'll give it a try soon, then. I don't know how to do that save-state thing. Lol. I'm extremely patient, though, so I can manipulate the AI until I get tired & actually feel like doing that.

What I did is this. I put 2 players, one controlled with my joystick, and the other with the keyboard. I did the attack, and press Shift+F1 which makes a savestate. I tried to dodge it. And when I failed or whatever, I press F1 and it puts you there where you savesate first. Now that I think of, the super volley attack in T3 doesn't track like in T2. So you won't be able to do it with that. Maybe you can do it with the finger barrage that DO track a bit at least.

How did you pull off the aerial switch? I can't seem to pull it off.

Zoso9391, I am talking about the flank in the air. I thik you did it at 1:01.

you need to throw a fireball and inmediatly double tap the dash button and hold it in the second tap. You get the timming inmediatly. After that, it's just the dash behind that it's easy to practice against a dummy. You should watch Zeroannihilated's Tutorial on T2. It covers everything from the most basic (like, press square to attack) to the most advanced techniques

Zoso9391, I did watch his videos; however, I thought enigma dash was involved. When I pressed R1 and X, my character did an ascending hop and tried to grab the opponent. I can execute it on ground, but not in the air.

When I do that, I also descend a bit. Using both R1 and R2. It's another way of doing it that may work for you
