DBZ Budokai 3 - Majin Vegeta vs Mecha Frieza (Request)

Game: Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 Collector's Edition (EU ver).
Played on: PCSX2, a PS2 emulation program running in 1080p50fps on PC.
Match requested by: KZbin user "Alexander Jurczyk".
I used Cheat Engine to give both characters more capsules than normal.
Vegeta had:
1) Breakthrough
2) Babidi's Mind Control
3) Meditation
4) Angel's Halo
5) Bulma's Wish
Frieza had:
1) Breakthrough
2) Frieza's Space Ship
3) Turtle Shell
After deciding which capsules equip on both, the real problem was setting up the initial sequence of Frieza going Final Form, then hitting me to trigger Majin transformation, but only if I had enough Ki to instantly launch my Ultimate right afterward.
I had to win the struggle while Very Hard CPU had little to no fatigue and wait for the Mecha transformation. But then Frieza starts with 7 Ki bars, while I barely have any Ki left. Restoring the neutral is incredibly hard, I got lucky Frieza failed to hit me (I had a couple of very close calls at 1:33) and then went in Hyper Mode but couldn't connect his Ultimate.
From there, I got the upper hand of the fight and it went kinda smoothly, until final DragonRush (which is 99% luck). Ngl this was a serious RNG nightmare, with hindsight I should have used TASing Tools instead.

Yes. In DBZ Budokai 2 & 3, Majin Vegeta's Final Explosion always lowers both opponents' health bars to 0,1. If you win the minigame, you win the whole match.

@@MonkFalcon The setup was the cheapest, just because some random models like rocks, trees and etc. fall apart, doesn’t mean that it was finely made. A big character roster is useless if you are interested only into the third of it. Do you really believe to have a good Dragonball game depends on the amount of characters? It really needs more immersion and better balancing, to round it up with better effects, physics and strategic features. That’s what you had with Budokai 3.

No, in IW Final Explosion is no longer a 1HKO, but deals a fixed amount of damage. 2999dmg if you win, 1999 if you lose. Also, when you win you respawn already standing, while if you lose you are knocked down.

(AGAIN) nice to keep the combo going and all pretty impressive.. (but putting the game on the hardest setting, than slapping a capsules so the AI doesn't Vanish when the AI SHOULD Vanish put the game back to easy mode) The point of playing on the hardest tell me you master spacing, combo, KI management and the AI system of how they act..
