Great stuff Joe! Sweet looking new comics as per usual.. Love the Flash books ! Flash was always one of my go to books as a kid and Novick was a favorite artist on that title as well. I remember when the Return of Barry Allen story came out, I was SO excited because I thought he was really coming back for good. I really wanted to hate Wally West as Flash after Crisis but I really enjoyed that series, especially those first 25 issues or so. I’m sure I have a few of those Direct Currents somewhere.. Now.. how to figure out what box they’re in 🤔😱 lol Awesome show brother! 😊

I read the Return of Barry Allen storyline when it first came out. It was an amazing story. Not crazy about the Greg Larocque art though, but the covers by Ty Templeton were very nice. Mark Waid really made a name for himself with his run on Flash volume 2 run. I love how he brung all the DC speedsters together (Max Mercury, Johnny Quick, Jay Garrick, etc.) and linked them all to the speed force. Now you've given me an urge to read the whole thing all over again. * * * I'm a Carmine Infantino Flash fan myself. Mainly because I grew up with reprints of the early Silver Age Barry Allen. Sorry to hear you're not a fan. I am slowly trying to amass that late Bronze/Copper Age run when Infantino came back to the original Flash series. Cary Bates was the writer and I love his work on Superman during the Bronze Age. By the way, Frank Mclaughlin (your favorite Flash artist Irv Novick's inker) was Infantino's inker on most of that run.

So, after reading this comment, I went back and looked at some of my older flash with Infantino's art, and I have to tell you... maybe I'm being a total butthole about it. Carmine Infantino is one of the most recognizable names in Comics, and his Flash is definitely better than Wierengos 90s run on the Flash. thank you for the insight as always. have a good one
