DC Court Graffik Shoes Review (2021)

These fat, padded skate shoes will always reign supreme to me. I have Autism Spectrum Disorder and these DC shoes along with, DVS, Globe and Etnies are always going to be what I buy for shoes. They hug my feet so nicely and they look amazing.

@@joeybaseball7352 They make my feet super comfy. It's a sensory thing... It's hard to explain. But what I mean is that it is nice and padded for my feet and calms my anxieties.

@@thexskating oh ok. I feel the same way about cutlery. I can only eat with plastic utensils, because I hate the way the metal utensils feel in my mouth. I don't think it's an autistic thing, because I'm not autistic, but I get what you mean.

@@thexskating Yeah, same and aspie here with that sort of touch overdensitivity too. I really eally don't like shoes that feel even remotely like their squeezing my feet, I feel such should be snug enough not to feel like it's falling off but that's it. For me this mostly just results in me wearing sandals to literally every occasion I can if not being barefoot . :-P

Great shoe! I have different shaped feet and these happen to hug my foot perfectly and tightly. I ride BMX so i like the fact these are so thick and the sole sticks pretty well on my peddles. I really like vans too but they never fit my foot comfortably and i always end up with damaged toes and edges because my foot shape unfortunately. Just got some a month ago and i beat the heck out of these and they still look great. Even the soles look great and i use my feet to stop the bike constantly. From my experience its a solid choice for going hard on bmx. Dont know about skating tho

I don't recommend the Court for aggressive skating. They're immensely comfortable and durable and amazing for everyday shoes but even when you wear your correct size your feet tend to float around inside them because they're so roomy. They're fine for vert skating and light street skating but I'd recommend at least the slightly slimmer Net/Net SE or Pure or something else for more aggressive street skating if you're sticking with DC. Again though, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more comfortable daily wear skate shoe than the Court Graffik. That's just my opinion and advice. ✌️

A good alternative to Court Graffiks are the DC Gavelers. They’re still my #1 Skate Shoe after trying dozens of different brands (adidas, eS, etnies, Lakai, Vans, etc.)

@@joemamma8104 I love the look and style of the Gaveler and I ordered a pair from the DC site this year but when I got them they were super tight and seemed to run a whole size too small. I returned them and haven't tried a size up but I do love the way they look. Honestly I like them better because that little DC logo on top of the toe of the Court and the Net have always kind of erked me. The sued ones are fine but if you get them in leather they peel up within a week or so, but if you try to remove them completely they peel away leather. Just one of those little things.

@Solad DNA What do you mean about the size should I order it smaller than my size because it is wide inside or what?

@@waelbek437 I normally wear a 10 1/2 in Nike and Adidas and 10 in Converse but in most skate shoes, DC included, I wear size 11. Honestly it's best if you can either go to a store to try some on before ordering or see if you can use Amazon try before you buy and order a few different sizes. That's the best advice I can offer.

@Solar DNA I can't try it because it's not available in my country I ordered for it from another country my size is 45EU, but I ordered for 44EU because I heard that DC shoes are too spacey

I remember having a pair of these when I was younger, I had the Dark grey and black logo ones , I think they were handy downs from my brother but I remember wearing them almost all the time , I’ve been looking to buy a pair of them and your video helped a lot with the fit of them so I appreciate it a lot !!!

The blessing and curse of these shoes in dark colors and Ultrasuede with daily wear is that they look perpetually new. Whatever the uppers and soles are made of is nearly impervious to normal usage. I love ‘em.

I love those shoes, been wearing them for years. I always rock the all black because you can wear them anywhere. They are one of few that make my size 17

I've had my Court Graffiks for about 2 months now. I don't skate personally but I wanted to have some old skool looking shoes for my style. I wore them for about 2 weeks for PE class at school and the rest was just walking to and from school. The left shoe already has a little tear near the heel on the inside of the shoe. They'll probably last a couple more months. I got mine for 30$ on Amazon which was a great price I think. Any more than that I would not advise.

I have 2 pairs of Court Graffix. Very comfy. They won't betray you even for long walks. A drawback is that I purchased the Black Sabbath model and black/white. The latter came in somewhat smaller although in the same size. So, try before buy is a great option if you have a chance.

These are nice ass shoes! I always loved these shoes (d.c) I was never a fan of basketball shoes and I never really skated myself but I like the look and these and adidas old schools.

You can wear them every day just get memory foam insoles. ES skate shoes are great too.

@@GillisDaKid Hello I watched your entire video.I was looking to see what kind of footbed insole these have are they EVA padded/cushioned like etnies?Please help.I have foot problems.I owned 1 pair of etnies when I was in my late teens.I like the look of these better but if they don't have the cushioned footbed I'll stick with etnies.Please help.Thanks

@@Day_Dreamer90 They have EVA midsole but it’s not padded unfortunately. You can always change the insoles tho. You should check out my video of New Balance fresh foam for people with foot problems.

@@Thruyosections So they'd have to be very drunk when they probably could get something else as comfortable and nice looking in the 90-200 range. Generally, when I see prices for shoes go above that range, it's because somebody's being absolutely conned out of their money, using artificial scarcity or making bogus claims about what's on sales quality. I'm sure that's not always the case 100% of the time, if there's like a complex mix of leathers or something. Having studied animal science, traditional goat or cattle leather doesn't seem like it should take anywhere near that much money to process to be profitable. that would require raising the price to still make a profit off the item, but often we're not talking about a $10 profit, we're talking about a profit that's been maximized to screw over the foolish customer. Or at least this is what my perception of this stuff is like from the outside looking in, feel free to let me know if I'm wildly misunderstanding.

Honestly the big puffy skate shoes (DC, Osiris, Etnies, Lakai, Etc.) weren’t really 90s skating, more like early 2000s skating. I used to watch 411vm way back and the giant baggy pants with the equally giant shoes looked so cool back then.
