Arrow barley connected? Really did you even watch it? No nothing to connect them with the giant alien invasion like say being kidnapped and mind probed for information which could very well lead to the reasons behind the invasion in the first place, is that the type of connection to the over all story you where looking for and didn't find? They should do Crisis so as to fold the universes in the multiverse into one thus giving us a singular Earth with Arrow, Legends, Flash, Kara, Jay, Justice Society, Jesse, Superman and Jon. It closes if storyline opportunities for doing parallel Earth stories, but widens where they can go with New Earth.

I think the most exciting thing about the crossover event is the local of their hq... it's so the Hall of Justice. Also, for crossover event... how about Convergence. Also, on Marc's jab at the 90s X-men crossover events... 100% agree. Only events that I think didn't suck was Fatal Attractions and Phalanx Covenant.

I think Rei is not Obi's granddaughter but palatines granddaughter. Obi told Luke about who her mother is and her mother entrusted Rei to Luke because she wanted to give her child a shot at being part of something good and not bad. It fits the whole soap opera theme.

Regarding Rogue One, there are still two specific things I'd love to come out of this once the movie has opened. First, although it may be addressed in the prelude novel that was just released, I'm really hoping that we'll find out in some way shape or form that Galen Erso added the trench leading to the small thermal exhaust port (right below the main port) into the Death Star plans knowing it could be exploited as a means to destroy the station later on. The second is something I don't think can really be addressed in the movie but just a theory of mine that I'd love to keep in the back of my head whenever I watch Rogue One and the original trilogy in the future: We've seen from the trailer that Rogue One is the call sign that the team uses in the movie. In A New Hope, the X-Wings that attack the Death Star are known as Red Flight but by the time we get to Empire Luke is now the commander of Rogue Squadron. To my recollection (and please correct me if I'm wrong) the only call signs we hear in Empire are Rogue 2 and Rogue 3 and Luke is referred to as Rogue Leader. If that is the case (and assuming several if not all of the team from Rogue One die before the credits roll) I personally would love to imagine that after the successful attack on the Death Star, Luke names the newly formed X-Wing Squadron in honor of the Rebels who gave their lives to steal the Death Star plans and in addition, that there is no Rogue One in the squadron because they retired the number as well.

They might be on to something; Young Han has a fling with Khalisi, then split up, and she gives birth to a daughter who she abandons on Jakku. Who then grows up to fight her half-brother Kylo Ren! Actually too much time passes.. Rey would have to be about 35 in Force Awakens for that to work. But maybe Rey is Han's grand-daughter?
