Bill Paxton was in so many films I love which I didn't remember until watching this... Aliens, Apollo 13, Terminator, True Lies, Twister, Edge Of Tomorrow... He knew a good film to work on that's for sure, even if he wasn't the star. There would have been many great films to come that would have benefited from his work and general input. He was up there with the best of the best, and seems to have been a great friend to pretty much every brilliant person in Hollywood. We lost another good one here folks, his family and friends should be very proud of his great and timeless work.

Stallone did "The Lords Of Flatbush" a couple of years before "Rocky". He was originally supposed to be one of the guys in "Jaws" on the pier that the shark takes out (Joe Spinell was supposed to be the other guy) but Stallone was busy on The Lords Of Flatbush, in which he had also gotten credit for writing some of his own dialogue.

I don't watch any superhero TV shows, but the Soap Opera aspect has been DRASTICALLY missing from comics for about 20 years. The reason why Marvel keeps going back to 80s storylines of all of their characters is because that's when they had the guts to really do drama and melodrama with their characters. Now everyone has to be squeaky clean and heroic so they can have a movie demographic one day.

Marc Bernardin is very knowledgeable and smart on pop culture, movies and what not, but while he can be very humorous at times Kevin Smith defiantly brings the funny and charisma. You can tell in just how marc acts in the episodes where kevin is with him, he seems to enjoy it a lot more.
