Only bought this figure for $47 in near mint packaging last month. I'm glad that I have this figure. I'm a fan of the oval bat logo I displayed it near my batman the animated series expression pack and its amazing. Just starting to collect batman figure this year. 😆 Awsome review bro! 👍👍👍

He lost the trunks somewhere around the mid 90s for a few years as well while he still had the Oval bat symbol!

I remember them missing for a while back then. I remember thinking it didn’t look quite right. The first time it looked OK to me was Batman Inc. by the time New52 came around I didn’t even question it anymore. The one thing about this suit that continues to grow on me is the belt.

How is removing the cape? It looks like there's the entire neck as part of it. I am going to attempt a Jim Lee Batman on a DCUC body

Just very carefully work it loose. Sometimes I've needed to keep the plastic soft by periodically submerging it in boiled water. The glue tends to be around the neck the most. You my need to lift it little by little (being careful not to bend it too much) and cut little by little with an exacto blade. Just carefully keep working it so as to not crack the paint or rip the rubber/plastic. I've managed it two times without damaging the cape.

I got it off surprisingly easily. Mine happened to have no glue on the neck, just 2 dabs on the upper back that had already peeled the black paint off a bit, but nothing that's visible when on the figure. The body I'm putting it on is the 1950s Silver Age Legacy figure. The ball peg seems way too large for the Jim Lee head from the Unmasked figure, so I'm currently filing it down to match the size of the peg that came with him. Other than that, I already swapped the arms and legs with the Legacy figure for black gloves and boots. I just have to get the head to fit on the peg and the final piece will be the marigold capsule belt from the 75 years DC Super Power variant TRU exclusive fig.

It is a great figure, I just wish he was gray and blue. But I did like this suit better than his New 52 suit. Batman Incorporated was my favorite comic. I was very bummed when it ended.
