Just another easy fix for the 'King'! Way to go, those actuators are powerful. That 50" deck isn't light. Ready for another 20 years of service. Great fix EJ.

I agree about the "PL" products. I use it all the time but never knew It would do that!! I enjoyed this video. It answered my questions and I learned a new "PL" trick. Thanks!! 🕶

Yeah the Cub is a much cooler Machine!! I had an 82 Craftsman since it was new and it never let me down an it's still in great shape!! My Brother in Law gave me two Craftsman Tractors from the 2000's and they were complete junk!!☺

Yep I take that antique cub over the Crapsmen anyday! I had a early 70's Sears tractor when I was a kid and that was a NICE well built machine!

good job brother... lil racer did good too... acuators aren't cheap but not massively expensive. Maybe the original part would be but you could get aftermarket.

Thanks Jim!! I couldn't believe we got that one running again!! There was so much mud, rust, and corrosion that the magnets came off the case!! Lil' Racer outdid himself cleaning that up!!☺

Pretty Good Repair there that is a neat item you could make a cool invention outta one of those DC motors are pretty tough most repairs are just new brushes or bearings

Nice job, was that the seat you fixed with plasti dip?
@MrComaToes11 жыл бұрын
I actually have worked on many of those actuators... and replaced them for about the same reasons, then repaired the old ones pretty much the same way. They are fairly common, not surprising an exact replacement is $900, but an decent replacement would be around 100 bucks on ebay

Hello , hope all is well with you , I was wandering how would you go about to salvage the magnets from the case without damaging them ? Do you thing heating the case would make the glue melt ? Any suggestions is appreciated . Cheers !
@805ROADKING7 жыл бұрын
Maybe heat or soak it in lacquer thinner or acetone might soften the glue!!
