Why are people not watching this? I want EVERY story. I think Jon Ridley gets at something I always thought about, that maybe all fans thought about: filling in those places that go unexplored, imagining Doom Patrol or whoever -- for me, the odd ones, Apache Chief, no matter what that representation may have seemed like then; he was different; he was new; I wanted to KNOW more. These characters are great. If only DC could be unadulteratedly DC, never looking sideways at Marvel. DC: that marriage of bright silliness and depth and seriousness, merged, and especially on film, because many of the books, at Marvel and DC, simply rock, if you read comics. I would love to see Jon Favreau (sp.) -- from "The Mandalorian" / "The Book of Boba Fett" (I saw Fett's second episode, which reclaims the collective narrative of the Tusken Raiders and fleshes out the life of indigenouse aborigines in a way that is cool and simply majestic, without ever talking down to anyone, without making straw-man villains) -- take one character, Favreau on Mister Miracle or Mister Terrific, Black Lightning or heck Majestic, the Superman who isn't Superman, and make them iconic.
