It's very poignant that the first UFC event to take place following the passing of Abdulmanap will be in Abu Dhabi where he cornered Khabib last September, the only UFC event he ever attended with his son.

And he didn't make them stay out of extremism by keeping them away from their religion but by embracing it to become good guys and not bad guys. When you see khabib a devout Muslim being one of DC's closest friends, it shows you that AbdulManap taught these young men to respect and love others and smash them ofc, may he rest in peace 🙏

I miss my father he passed away 11 months ago. I wasn't as closed to him as Khabib with his father but I was devastated. I can only imagine how Khabib feels right now. He's a beautiful human being.

My dad also just passed away on November 21st of 2022 I understand khabibs pain 💔 😢 I hope both of ya have a blessed life and know there will be good days n bad days but khabib dad whold definitely be proud of him and Islam

I had special bond with my dad maybe half of what Khabib had. My dad passed away 9 years ago, i have a beautiful family, wife and kids successful job but i still feel incomplete. I cant even imagine what Khabib is feeling...

@erikcarrillo33 It sounds like you handled things the right way man. My dad left when i was 12, im 20 now and years have passed. But things never were the same. I messed up my a important part of my life (got involved with drugs and messed up school). I have a feeling one of the reasons that happened is because i forgot he was watching me as the years went by. The regret i feel can't be put to words, but i'm slowly picking my life back up.

Ufc should tribute him. I am sorry but i feel like they dont give him the credit he deserves (Khabib is the only one who talked about him), this man helped and changed the life of a lot of people who were nothing (Khabib, Islam, Zabit, Usman, Umar, etc etc etc) and changed the game

No joke but the day that he died. At around 3 am while I was working, out of the blue i started to think about him and his health and how sad he must be . *BUT AS I LOOKED AT KHABIBS FATHER IN KZbin* There it was , a KZbin post I think it was, it wasn't a vid . And there he was, Abdulmanap, and it said he passed away. Like what a coincidence? 😳

Watch the video of Khabib being frustrated by reporters asking him the same questions over and again and then his face lighting up after he decided to just spend the rest of his time talking about his dad with them. He was like a little boy proudly talking about his superhero with the greatest joy.

khabib's father did not only left lasting impressions on people he met, but also on people who watched his videos, who watched him on internet.....i cried when i heard that he died.....i felt like someone near and dear to me, a relative, died.........he is in jannah now....and i will meet him there

I know exactly what Khabib is feeling right now, i had a very similar bond with my father and i come from a family with the same exact culture. It is fatal and i went through the hospital a couple of times because of heartaches and similar problems because i couldnt take the sorrow anymore. However, Khabib is tougher than me for sure.

I remember that interview when he said his father was gonna smash him. You could see he genuinely knew he was gonna get whipped. An undefeated world champ who still wouldn't mess with his Dad. Respect.
