Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I like this figure a lot, he's good but the lack of upper thigh swivel and limited head and neck articulation is very disappointing. You NEED those points, especially for a Batman figure. No use in having a grapple gun and he cant look up.

One thing to note about the scale is it's not just the height that's smaller but the proportions, within their own line they seem fine. I think the thigh joint could possible work if there was a bit more play with the sculpt? Bandai's Figuarts soooorta use the singular ballpeg but even then there's still a thigh swivel in there (and the added hinged balljoint).

I like the head sculpt. Not a fan of some of the proportions though. Wide hips a bit, or maybe the legs just dont close together enough, some things seem like they would erk me. I am on the fence. the neck joint is weak and no thigh rotation bothers me too. May just get one or two. Green Lantern for sure. Nice review man.

This wide hip problem is only on the batman figure. Looking at the green arrow and superman figures their proportions are a lot better. I have no idea why. This figure could have been amazing.

Really liking the look of these! The plastic looks MUCH better than most that comes out of DC Collectables - which is to say, less "collectable" and more "toy." It looks like I wouldn't be afraid to move this guy at ALL, and that's what interests me! I think I've got my fill of Batman, but I'm looking forward to many of the other figures in this line.

Okay, would you say these new DC figs are better, worse, or on par with Marvel Legends?

+Tom Bowling I would say almost on par with Hasbro Marvel Legends. Take out the BAF piece and include more excessories, and they even out there. Level of paint seems equal, but what gives Legends the edge for me is most Legends can look up easily and have thigh cut swivel. Regardless, these are definitely a big improvement from any other 6" scale DC figures.

Some are saying that this is the Dick Grayson Batman but nope that isn't Dick. It says on the side of the package, "Last Rites". Dick didn't wore the cape and cowl yet until Batman #687 (Batman: Reborn) while Last Rites' issues were Batman #682-685, Detective Comics #851-852, Nightwing (Vol.2) # 151-152, and Robin (Vol.4) #183. And take note that Dick Grayson's Batsuit has only two spike fins on each gloves and had a Bat-emblem on his utility belt.

I wanted to order this figure. actually this batman is awesome, but the SIZE(!). It could be the best if they go for bigger proportion... It's too small. Even with SHF Catpain America, this Batman is shorter. The best batman 1/12 for me is Mafex Batman version 2. But definetely will buy this figure just for sake of completing my batman 1:12 collections.

These look nice, but waaaaay too small. Unless you have a free shelf for these or don't mind mixing with other DC figures. Just not worth $25. Even with recent Marvel Legends I think half of them are not worth $25 - unless you love that character or don't collect anything else or have a bigger income, I guess. For me personally I rather spend money on Artfx+ for $40 to 50 bucks and get a nice 7.5/ 8 inch statue over a figure shorter than ML that around $21 to $24.99 on average... or just get a different line of the 6" to 7" scale DC figure for that same price.

SuperSonnyShow that's not the right suit. If it were dick Grayson he would have two gauntlet blades instead of three, and a more streamlined batbelt. Some artists do draw batman slimmer though. More like a ninja in that sense. Some people think that's a more realistic suit for someone so agile.
