And DrM saw that he was going to die to superman but he didnt care, because superman is referred as The Ultimate Anitbody, so he was fine with it. Also thor doesnt have better feats, thor lost to a nerfed superman in a Cannon cross over story. The writer was from marvel and he himself said he had to make the characters SEVERELY weaker so it isnt a blood bath. Name one feat that thor did that is multiversal level without mojlnir il wait....... oh wait you cant because thor HIMSELF is not multiversal it's the hammer, superman is however outerversal if not omniversal. Jameson hyping up Superman is both heartening and aggravating 🤣. I love how Supes didn't just curb stomp him. Despite tanking Thanos' blade, he struggled a bit against the gauntlet, and to a lesser extent against Thanos' strength. He was clearly superior, but they had a good fight. That handshake at 1:54 ... It made me feel gud 😊!

Even Superman needs a team. But... beyond falling in love with the animation and story... Thanos would have survived the moon landing with the guantlet. He stood against Captian Marvel and Avengers, so adding Supes would still be a longer battle. Adding the black suit - nice throwback! Sups speed, intellect, frost breath, and supernova burst would have given an edge to Supes cause fist for fist Supes vs Hulk could last days (think how long it took for Supes to fight Darksied or Doomsday) and Thanos took it on the chin with the Hulk - maybe not War Hulk or at his strongest- but still. Fantastic animation!

Superman got aged by the time stone making him more powerful. That's what the black suit represented and the brief beard he had. He launched Thanos to the moon hard enough to destroy Thanos form to his atoms.

Wrong. You're forgetting about Superman prime. Look it up in the comic books. Normal regular Superman would still mop the floor with Thanos, if you read Superman comic books you would understand that. Thanos is not even the most powerful character in the Marvel universe. But Superman prime were to show up after taking a dip in the sun, trust me it's over almost instantly.

super epic animation btw i have some ideas for a backstory and a sequel to this and its basically: darkseid got the anti life equation and became tooo strong for the justice league to defeat so they need help so cyborg used a motherbox to find help, he found another multiverse with another set of heroes known as the avengers but they were also facing a crisis because a being named thanos had collected all the six infinity stones whch keep the balance of the universe intact and was too strong to be defeated by the avengers so the justice league did some research on thanos to find out he was wayy weaker than darkseid and could be defeated by superman alone, so they sent superman to help the avengers and then the events of this video occur. then superman tells captain america about darkseid and the anti life equation and why they need the avenger's help in defeating him and then the avengers and the justice league work together and after few weeks a portal opens and darkseid and his armies come, the avengers and the justice league must now work together to defeat him if you like my idea please consider doing it (its fully your choice)

I think I might implement this in one of my fanfics I'm working on. Not this exactly, but aspects of it. I haven't reached the point in time I'd need to implement Superman vs Thanos, but if I keep Infinity War as it is... then I'll definitely be having Superman appear in time to help the Avengers during Endgame's final battle. one way or another, I'll have the Man of Steel defeat Thanos in a pretty similar scene to this.
