I can’t wait for this one. Reminds me of the 90’s Death of Superman run. It’s a super fun design in my opinion. Great book too. I don’t mind the torso re-use when it makes sense. I think it makes sense here. Also the re-use probably cuts production time and gets us a new figure quicker while still being a great sculpt.

Just ordered this guy . Been looking for this figure on shelves but its been impossible. I think this figure looks great, of course it can use better paint apps. Other than that it looks great and different. Articulation is always fun like you said though everyone is different. Can't wait to receive this guy. Really looking forward to the new armored batman as well. Great review my dude as always!

Agreed, and that's why I decided I really wanted to get this guy. i'm likeing this dark father wave. I like what MacFarlane's been doing, and this Oddball stuff that pops up really pushes The Nostalgia button for me. This kind of stuff is really cool to me.

They can POO POO all "they" want... but this is a solid figure. Yes, I have heard complaints about the wonky eyes. But that is just an individual QC issue. I just picked this up at TOY TRADERS...Big Shout out to those boys in Langley, British Columbia Canada. They had this bad boy on clearance for $20. Had a whole peg rack deep. Three had the funky eye and two were perfect. Love this goofy Superman.

Nice review! I agree that the head sculpt is a little...off, but it's different look for Supes, so I don't really mind it either. Also, i think the weird hand gestures are so that he can play the guitar that will be packed with the trench coat Batman re-issue (ala the Doug Mahnke cover). Good stuff, man!

it's odd uncommon and love it for that particular reason. When i first saw this figure i found it cringe but then it started grow on me. I tend to see figures unbiased and try not to justify them. Not a comics or DC expert either. If I like what I see I just buy it and I think this figure is lots of fun along with the rest of the series.
