I think that supergirl face looks like michael jackson, the expression on that face is super weird, also, because the legs are all painted red as if the boots reached the crotch, when have you seen such an image of supergirl?, never . Boots should only reach a little above the knee. What a disappointment seriously. So far the best super dirl is the DC Icons with her beautiful face and her costume totally faithful to the comics. I disagree. The figures are getting better and better. Classic riddler? The Justice Buster? Classic Flash? Knightfall Batman? Catman? Injustice Brainiac? The list of great newer releases just goes on and on.

@@DerrickVanderspoon classic riddler looks like a trans man and was done better by dcuc. Justice buster is too small and out of scale, plus nobody cares. Classic flash is average, there's also half a dozen other classic flash figures from other companies that are just as good or better. Knightfall batman looks goofy, watch the comparison between in and the essentials. Does anyone care about injustice braniac? I haven't heard one person talk about it

They look like weird gamerverse versions of the characters. It takes them 100000 tries to even get a perfect Superman that they have yet to achieve.

Nice review. Finally got my Supergirl Rebirth, also straight from Hong Kong. One thing I noticed when comparing it side by side on Injustice 2 Supergirl is that the rebirth kind of leans her neck a little too forward. That's why the injustice one has better standing posture while this one is a little awkward. Oh and especially the waist, kinda weird. But anyway, I still like it. The colors are more vibrant than the injustice one.

Wow. I love the speeding bullets body buck and I'm so happy they are using it again. They did a lot of retooling on it too but then what the actual fuck where they thinking just leaving the old belt on?! It's this kind of lazy bs that McFarlane does that really feels like a bit of a slap in the face to his fans... I don't mind re use at all but they have to at least modify parts that simply aren't meant for that figure. Not just paint and sculpt on top of old details from previous releases. It's embarrassing.

I really do think speeding bullets is one of the best figures dcm has done so far. I just hope that there a bit more detail oriented next time.

I think Supergirl looks good but much rather have a sculpted plastic/rubber cape on her and REALLY bummed out that they gave her long stockings instead of her boots. Really confused why they didn't give her some skin tone above the boots. LOVE Black Lightning but that belt issue is ridiculous! I agree that there was absolutely no reason not to sculpt him a new diaper piece!

I was really looking forward to this figure's release, but now I've seen it out of the box, I don't think I'll be getting it. I could live with, and maybe repaint the legs to make them more accurate, but the below waist proportions ruin it for me.

3:09 actually it’s the printing that’s off. Most of them are defective for some reason and that’s why I won’t be picking up this figure. The rest does look good though.

Awesome Review Bro👍❤💛💙, Honestly I love the cloth cape because it makes the figure look more nicer and easy to stand. With plastic cape they have a weight which makes the figure to fall, my Mattel MOS Movie Master Superman figure always falls.

If this had been a costume kit bash, then I would have been deeply impressed but given that this is a professional job and possibly the only main universe comic version we're going to be harsh about it. I don't like soft goods and if it is going to become a regular thing then I will have to stop buying McFarlane because this looks tacky. Black Lightning looks boss, can't wait for more characters of color... Vixen, Mr. Terrific, Vibe, Bunker, Dr. Light, Katana, Bumblebee, etc.

@@DCMultiCollectoryea the quality isn’t great but it’s the thought that counts. Only company I collect that actually includes flight stands and doesn’t charge a premium for it. Every McFarlane flight stands I have is in use and I had to resort to buying extra for other characters that should a came with them 😅 also love that speeding bullets buck they coulda easily used the blue beetle buck

Personally I'd say the nothing beats the DC Icons Supergirl figure, but in terms of a 1/12 scale this one does look pretty good. As has already been said, the only disappointing thing to me is the legs & lack of accurate skin-boot ratio. Definitely snagging that Black Lighting though!

This figure is awful. They ruined her. The legs and frumpy hips/skirt is a big no no for me personally, I’m only going to pick this up for the head sculpt and put it on the DC Essentials Supergirl instead. Much better. My favourite character and they couldn’t even get her right. She looks nothing like the card she comes with, she looks… old. Lol Supernan

Definitely just gonna paint the legs on supergirl (if i can find one) but man that skirt looks awful, kinda juts forward too so the side silhouette looks like shes thrusting her hips forward, that idk how to fix.. they should've maybe just sculpted a flowing pleated skirt or just cloth

Yeah, that Supergirl is strange. She should have bare legs. Those hips don't lie. I bet at some point they well make a more accurate version making collectors double dip. As for the cape, you may try wetting it under a faucet and let it dry naturally. It may hang in a more natural position. I do that with Star Wars Black Series Jedi robes. Black Lightning looks cool.

If the character flies they should have a flight stand if the character uses energy it should have energy effects and heat vision with compatible heads should be included or start producing energy/effects/weapons accessory packs

It’s a great buck. The proportions are excellent. They should make a new mould based on this, but with the little details unique to Speeding Bullets removed.

Most figures I get from Fetts Hideout Toys and Collectables. Imported items such as these are purchased from AliExpress, Amazon or some independent stores in Hong Kong.

@@DCMultiCollector Thank you I appreciate the response. Here in the states a Walmart Exclusive such as the Black Lightning there is like a 0% chance to find in stores. And after a while it just becomes a bit frustrating. Especially for someone like me who is not a collector just a lover of toys ends up having to pay $50-60 for every figure that comes out now because all these stores exclusives that McFarlane drops it just sucks sometimes.

Hello again, I was wondering if i could pick your brain. I ordered a Black Lightning figure from AliExpress. The seller/store is called McFarlanes Toys Store. I am now skeptical because when I keep looking up the tracking it says received by local delivery company but it's been saying that for 4 days now and no new logistics/tracking updates. is this a potential fraud ? or am I just being impatient? though the estimated delivery date was in fact today but to no avail.

What I dislike about Todd these days is that he makes female figures and then there's one or two major defect on that figure (weird face, weird proportions, weird engineering choices). Then he loaths that no one buys female figures.
