Good to see EV technology getting the push in India. EV technology is evolving so in the future we will see 2 things happening - a.) more charging stations across the country b.)Better batteries (efficient / with long range).So the problem of range will go away. Lets hope that this happens sooner. GreatJob by Mahindra and Mr. Gadkari for encouraging and promoting EVs. This is such an amazing, uplifting video! Thank you PluginIndia (Pradip & Kamlesh) for doing this. We love electric mobility. It's also a landmark event as this is the first publicly accessible charge point in India that one is aware of. God bless you all! May good things continue to happen on all fronts with the people (us) aware and engaged in making them happen.

here in Norway we are starting to use 350 kWh on the road and some places 22 kWh at home. This year we also get the wireless charging (like the new Audi V). In the past some norwegians had 1-fase 16A or even 50 kW first generation rapid chargers. In 2018 we even have some buslines with electric buses and self-driven ones too. Some poor norwegian with older houses only have 8A IT nett.
@miloe4366 жыл бұрын
Uh, no. There are some 150kW stations but most are 50kW. And people at home are usually charging at 20A or 32A, so 4,6 or 7 kW

Unfortunately having batteries with larger energy densities will increase costs and in a price sensitive market like India - its an issue. But Lithium prices are dropping and in coming decades we will have other chemistries too. Also rate of charge is limited by Lithium's issues with heat. So lots can change in the future. This is a start.
