He spent years in the service of Time Masters and not to mention, that he built the first time machine(if i remember right, Eobard said that in the first season of Flash). But Thinker's ability to learn new information, retain them and proccess them is far beyond anything that is known to the history... Even he said that he has the fastest mind even faster than speedster's mind(thats alone is incredible, when you think about it, because the amount of information and sensory input they have to process when they run is just unimaniginable).

The show wasnt the same after Rip died. I liked him as this guy who is always the first one to detect a threat and rally the team. He was also always doing it his own way and doing everything he could to get the job done. He also had a lot more experience and knowledeg far beyond any of the legendsto the point where he knew command to gideon that none of them had figured out even after all those years. He was also really good at finding the right people for the job like he did with the og legends and Wally.
