Hi, in this video, I want to tell you about the problem you might run into when using the SUN1000/2000GTIL inverter from a battery, while activating it with a timer for Peak Shaving or Arbitrage.
Attention: In the video I am saying that the Standby-power AC draw of the Inverter is pretty high (70W), but luckily, that is not true, as the current flowing through the AC wire is mostly capacitive, and the Power Factor of that draw is only 0.03. So, this is resulting in a Real Power of only 2W in Standby, which makes it perfectly fine to leave the Inverter connected while not generating power.
