I can see a horror anthology TV series based on the _PLOP!_ comics. Live-action or animated in Aragones' style, how delightful it would be to see Cain, Abel and Eve spinning their tales of woe and doom!

First time I've read Plop I was 6 years old in 1978 (translated in Brazilian Portuguese). In 2010 later I've bought six issues in English of course and I'm saving for an especial occasion to read them again

I have issues #1, 2 and 3... and they're in much better condition that the ones you have on display. I bought them new in my local Midwest comic book store with lawn mowing money I made as a kid. They are part of my most treasured collection. WAY better than Marvel's Spoof.

Were these original designs for Kane and Abel used later for Neil Gaiman's Sandman? Those Bernie Wrightson illustrations look so similar.

Wrightson drew both Cain & Abel in *House of Mystery* & *House of Secrets* several years before *Plop.* Not only on covers, but also in interior stories. So Cain & Abel were fairly iconic _a la_ Wrightson before Gaiman thought of *Sandman.*

Plop was awesome in the beginning basil Wolverton covers again later wally wood takes over due to health issues with basil Wolverton . art by Sergio wrightson and Calgary sun political cartoonist john latter. By issue 24 its a lot of bad gag cartoons ads and really not worth buying . anyway check em out at your favorite comic shop. Rock on d . s.
