Sensacional esse vídeo irmão! Eu acabei de ouvir essa música no KZbin Music, depois procurei uma versão ao vivo no KZbin e em seguida seu vídeo foi recomendado. O interessante é que eu toco violão/guitarra/teclado, mas o baixo é o destaque dessa música. Eu ouvi essa música pensando no baixo e aí seu vídeo apareceu. Comecei a ouvir DC Talk no início dos anos 90 por influência de um americano que tinha ido na minha igreja. Ele me mandava fitas cassete de 90 minutos. Claro que embolava. Depois eu comprei os CDs. Música boa em todos os sentidos, letra, arranjo, quase perfeita. Abraço!!

Top mano! Eu também era um cara das fitas K7. 😂 Um amigo gravava pra mim Ron Kenoly, Don Moen, Kevin Jonas, etc. Eu era criança ainda, mas escolhi o baixo por causa do gospel americano, Abe Laboriel. Uma turma do Pr. Dan Duke veio à igreja no começo dos anos 90, junto com David Quinlan inclusive, acho que isso despertou o interesse em música americana na gente. Sempre tinha alguém com uma fita nova. Bons tempos! Abraço.

No momento em que eu ouvi a primeira pancada da musica Jesus Freak do Cd homônimo, e logo depois foi descobrindo outras preciosidades como Between You and Me, uma das melhores canções do DC talk e que contém uma das mais simples porém belas linhas de Baixo que é o ponto alto dessa canção. Realmente cara, na introdução não tem baixo no original... A intensidade da música aumenta nessa parte, então fiz a segunda metade da intro no baixo pra acompanhar a subida dela. Abraço, valeu!

Thanks, man! I don't know if I got the point (and my English is bad too, sorry!) but at the time that I captured this, the camera app was very unstable (recorded with the Motorola Defy with nightly release of CyanogenMod rom), and when I realize that the sound was good, but the video was unstable (slow... fast... normal... damn it), I had to fix manually on the Sony Vegas, make cuts and adjust the speed of video captured to sync perfectly on the bassline, but that's very difficult to do with a unstable video. With the resources at that time (and I was a noob) this is the best I could do. I think this with video filters makes this feeling.

No. My fault for not being more clear. I mean the guitar looks VERY HEAVY! Anyway, how did you get your bass to sound muted like that? Way cool!

I've used: Gotoh pickups (middle frequencies are great) > compressor > direct box > Cubase. Equalized the songs with more mid/high frequencies and my bass sound with more low/mid frequencies. I think did the same process to recording other videos, before unite the audio lines, only changed the bass and pedals in the last video.
