I played this game since the first week it released until a year or so ago. They implemented an update that essentially ruined the last decade of grinding and looting their long time players had invested and made it so everyone wether you are a day 1 veteran or a brand new player you have the exact same stats regardless of gear when entering a raid or mission…. Over a decade of building an amazing character made pointless in a single update. It’s the biggest shame because I genuinely loved this game and had thousands of hours in it over the years all the way back since PS3.

Dang I had no clue they put that in the game, I noticed that the game asked me if I wanted to jump straight to level 30 but I thought I had to pay or something. That really stinks it seems like they just kinda forgot about the people who actually made the game what it is today

They did this to avoid people solo farming old 8 player content so that tons of endgame players still play the older content, so the new low levels dont have issues finding people who also queue up for them, i get it sucks in your opinion but its for the better of the game overall really, it helps the new players stick around and not give up because they cant find people lol

Kind of a lame way to look at it. Any MMO that has been around for extended period does this. It keeps new players interested, able to party with older players and keeps the community alive. I get it you did the grind, well now you don’t have to. Enjoy the time you spent playing the game, you have the experience over the new players regardless of gear and level. Wanting someone else to suffer through a dying community and struggle to find parties or even people to play with is a lame excuse for the hate, because that’s pretty much what you are saying. It’s not exactly like the DC universe community is growing or even getting a large influx of new players. It’s people that have been playing for a while getting their friends to play with them, now they can jump in and play the game with their friends without the extended period of grinding. Sorry you don’t get to flex how awesome you hero is anymore but seriously it’s a good thing for the game and the community.

I played both, and yes, CoX was much better. The character creator is legendary, the powers and end game content was epic. DCUO was funny, but CoX is king.

There’s supposed to be a major update that should also include graphics as well. I’m looking forward to this game looking updated but they also need a currency exchange between worlds so you don’t have to earn loot everytime you go somewhere

I’ve never tripped over the graphics but I always said if they did update them, so many role players careers would take off because of how insane the customization is already. If they are as good as I think they would be, this game is going to take over 😂

man, I'm from Brazil and to this day they haven't created a translation for my country... on the other hand this game made my childhood... and I think one day RPG creators could put AI voice in games and then when we put our names in the game the characters could finally say my name, I don't think game creators thought about it yet, maybe it would be rough or funny some name like "oifsahfaosfhpaef" or something more specific would be genius.

This games cool af, played since launch pretty much and been on and off at times but the newest content that just released was really fun, did the elite version of the new raid a ton and its still fun lol, I wish they just listened to the community more on what dlcs people want, because the current dlc is the best one thats come out in multiple years, and alot of players who just farm the new stuff for styles had a bad time too because all the styles were just female inspired and looked shit on males haha, amazing game though once you understand the stats and mechanics etc it can get really interesting and fun, Subbed for this series bro have fun :)

I played this game at launch and it has deteriorated heavily. Inventory space, drops, nd hell even money is limited if you don't pay. How many years has it been out again and they haven't raised the level cap? End game is just grind materials for gear. Over and over. Was a great game until microtransactions became a thing. When brainiac uses that pulse move, you’re supposed to block don’t know if you knew that because it doesn’t knock you back as far and you don’t receive as much damage

@@jcubby23 brainiac is the first big boss you fight at the beginning of the game. There is a PVE though on your duty tab. Where are you? Fight brainiac inside the Batcave, and the methods that you would use at the beginning are kind of useless unless you got high enough combat, rating and armor because it’s a very hard boss battle requires like a whole group to beat

Makes no sense how we get games copying each other like cod and fortnite but nobody wants to take the DCUO recipe and build on it. Me and my friend played it soo much like 9years ago. We always leveled up to max but then i was like mmm i dont like this character so we started again. My friend was pretty annoyed by me lol. Seriously underrated game (back then) before this game i played world of warcraft and tbh this game could easily match it. But i guess superheroes are not that popular in adult world. So even back then we played on US server because EU was alot emptier. Almost nobody from my country heard of this game, such a shame. I regret not playing it more back in the day haha.
